Embroidery scissors like these should have extremely sharp points for snipping very close to the canvas. I bought these for opening buttonholes but as you can see from the video they do not cut well at all.I can't recommend them. There are far better options out there.

I was surprised at how solid these little scissors are especially for the price. The decorative metal handles look great and just what I was looking for, for my deco style desk. They are small, but fine for little jobs like trimming tags off items and so on.

I lost a scissors with a similar design with this and based on the reviews I thought this would be a good replacement. The photos must be photoshopped compared to what I actually received (see comparison photo). When it arrived I was really disappointed as it looked cheap but I thought as long as it works ok then I can’t complain. However the scissors isn’t even that sharp. Poor quality product and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to buy one.

The scissors were very sharp which was what I needed as I wanted these for cutting card and not fabric.
