Recipes, A Cooking Journal (Color)

I’m about to order my fourth one of these. I’ve been using them since 2014 I think. I love this in that it’s not a basic recipe book; it focuses on the process and has areas for your notes, like how good was the recipe, what would you change, and each recipe gets a front and back of a page. I have a cookbook addiction that’s out of control. I find this journal to be very helpful with that. Whenever I get a new book, I go through and identify the couple of recipes that I’m most interested in trying, and I go ahead and write them (all instructions and notes included) in this recipe journal, being mindful to note what recipe book it is from (or sometimes it’s from online and I just note the website where I found it).The journal is sturdy and attractive. I do have one suggestion to the manufacturer: please number the pages, and include a numbered and lined page(s), (corresponding to the number or recipe pages) to the front of the book so we can create an index of what’s in the journal. That way we can just open to the first page and see what all recipes we’ve put in the journal. I, having nearly filled three of these already, find it hard to remember what recipes are where. I tried making my own index but it didn’t work well.

I like how simple this journal is and easy to use for storing recipes. I wish there was a tab for each food section to make it easier to flip to. Over all great little recipe book!

I love this cook book but a few of the pages were all bent when I recieced it in the mail. Other than that there was no other damage and the book is great for what I was needing. I agree to others about the tabs but I had read that before buying so I knew what to expect. You could easily add your own tabs if need be.

I’m writing this recipe book of my favorite recipes from my grandmother and mother. It’s going to be a gift for my grandson as he is always asking me how I used to make his favorite dishes? It has room for me to give him the full recipe, ingredients list, when it was created, etc. and a note page on the back for additional instructions or just fun stories. The pages are very thick and beautiful. I really like it!

I really like this book...wish there were a few more sections....like breakfast, and miscellaneous. Also would be cool to include some kitchen doodles to dress up the pages.

I really am happy with this recipe diy book. I bought a few different styles of the same type of product on Amazon and this was my favorite by far.

Only thing I wished for was a space for drinks specifically. I love keeping track of my favorite cocktails and smoothies.

I like that this cook book is hardback and spiraled. It has plenty of room for recipes and the page layout is great. I would purchase this again.
