Trick to get a child to take fish oil
I put this fat into my son’s hot soup, and then I add Engelvaer Norwegian cod liver oil (you can buy it for a very reasonable price on Amazon; it’s unflavored and practically tasteless). My son (7) loves the taste of the goose fat (he calls the oil on top of his cup “bubbles”) and since this cod liver oil practically has NO SMELL, additionally masked by the goose fat smell (yu-mmy!), my son has no idea that about 20% of the “bubbles” is cod liver oil. He loves his “bubbles.” Can’t get enough! This turns out to be the EASIEST WAY TO GET MY CHILD ON A HEALTHY, HIGH FAT DIET, FULL OF DHA’s.My son has behavioral issues. He is happier and calmer as longer as he drinks plenty of soups with the “bubbles.”If your child doesn’t “dig” the goose fat, try ghee, or some other natural, pastured fat. Try yak ghee! Try some other type of healthy nutritious fat!I hope this tip helps someone since I tried for years to get my son to get an adequate amount of DHAs, for his brain health and to better his behavior. If you want additional calming effect: mix some magnesium supplement (I do citrate—most people are deficient in magnesium!) and substitute cooking salt with potassium chloride. Most people get way too much sodium and the potassium/sodium balance is distorted. Potassium lowers blood pressure (more than meds for me!) and has a calming effect, while sodium raises blood pressure and winds you up. Cook with potassium chloride! There’s plenty of sodium in things you eat, unless you’re a raw vegan person that doesn’t use salt at all. If you better potassium to sodium ratio, you’ll lower the risk of stroke significantly, too. Please mark this review “helpful” so others can find it. I’d like to help at least one person other than my own child.Thank you.

Exactly What I was Looking for
I recently had goose fat roasted potatoes and this was perfect for it. The flavor wasn't overwhelming but subtle which was exactly what I was looking for. Very easy to scoop out of the jar.I did have a tough time opening the jar the second time around but that doesn't take away from my experience with the product.

Goose Fat Rules
This little jar of goose fat made our Christmas dinner. Scottish roasted potatoes in goose fat may not be great for your heart, but as an occasional taste treat, it can't be beat. This is just the right amount to roast a large amount of potatoes for a crowd, or save some for another holiday dinner.

Duckfat for air frying
In some dishes fat is needed for the flavor, in fact it is recommended. Duck fat sprayed lightly over fries or chicken enhance the flavor of the food. If you watch the cooking shows or have eaten fries in an upscale restaurant, duck fat is what makes the difference between okay fries and delicious fries. This brand of duck fat is fantastic.

Nice; but duck is better!
I enjoy cooking with goose fat. The flavor is MUCH milder than the duck choice. The burn temp is definitely noticeable (obviously lower than duck)

So happy to find this hard to find and delicious fat!!
Goose fat is hard to find in the USA. My mother was German, and I appreciate the unique and wonderful flavor of this fat. If you think duck fat is good wait till you try this!
