This item comes with the containers you see and a nice measuring tape to help you keep track of your measurements as you, hopefully, lose weight. I can't imagine someone needed portion control containers to gain weight. LOL, but the tape could also help measure your muscle growth. Anyway... I wanted to get containers that would help me portion out the amount of food I take for lunch because I don't always have the time to measure or weigh my food. I came across these containers and thought this would be a good choice. I still think it is, but I believe the manufacturer needs to work on the relationship between the lids and the containers. The first time I used them I had food spill all over my lunch box. I thought it was my mistake, so the second time, I really tried to put it on correctly only to find that it was difficult to open and when I finally did get it open, I opened it to hard and my food fell out. So be aware if you are going to take food with sauces. This is the second set I get with similar issues. I received this free or at a discounted price in exchange for my honest, unbiased review.

Through my journey to loose weight, eat healthier, and be more active the one part I have struggled with is proper portion sizes. It comes with a chart to help you decide what to fill your containers with. This product also comes with a tape measure so you can measure yourself before and after and to help you maintain your weight goals. They don't take up much space, they can fit the containers like a nesting doll! :) Dishwasher safe and microwave safe!!!

These portion control containers make eating healthy easier. The 7 containers are the right serving size for each food group serving. There is even small ones for dressing, seeds, etc.They are dishwasher safe, freezer safe, microwave safe and so convenient when preparing a healthy meal for the next dayI personally think they would be very beneficial for someone trying to eat healthier and to stop over eating. Although I would recommend buying more than one set unless you plan on washing dishes at least 3 times a day.
