I've been a fan of maamgic since I first found the brand on Amazon in 2021. I was a fan of Chubbies swim trunks and shorts, but they cost too much. One day, like a (misspelled) magic, maamgic appeared as I was looking for options!I started with their 2-n-1, 5" swim trunks with compression liners. Love them. Buttery stretch and fantastic durability. I use them 3 times a week for running/exercise, and wash them 3 times per week. Held up for years now.Then, I found out they made Cotton shorts too in the 5" length. I am 5'10" and 170 lbs with an athletic build (not slim fit) and a 33W fit me perfectly (true fit). They are pretty short, but not too short - just perfect where they are still long enough to cover your boxer shorts. I wear ExOfficio Boxer Briefs. Wore them on a recent Disney World trip and they kept me feeling cool in the heat and humidity, and they dried very quickly when I got splashed.The elastic looks a bit like "grandpa" shorts, but you're not going to tuck in your shirt are you? The elastic band has a very light tension which is great for comfort and feel like gym shorts.No negatives here! Just my opinion, but anyone over 6' probably should consider a 7" short.

They feel great. Sit on the waist well and are very comfortable and stretch. I did have to return to get a bigger size. I’d go at least one size bigger.

My wife had been telling me for years that shorter was sexier. I finally bit the bullet and bought three pairs of these for a trip to Italy (because when in Rome…) I originally tried to go with chubbies but the color I wanted didn’t come in my size so I tried these out and I’m so happy I did. Not only are they half the price but they are just as good if not better. The material is super comfortable, they don’t ride up the leg, the pocket depth is perfect and the elastic waistband means they stay on top of my ass instead of falling off it. I’m 6’-1” and 195 lbs. my waist is 34 and 34 fit me perfectly. I’m going to buy every color. Just make sure that your upper thighs are tan enough and you’ll be good to go. And your wife will be happier. Trust me.

I have every color. They are stretch, comfortable, and fit well. I have thick thighs and they showcase them exactly how I want them to. Highly recommend.

Look, I'm not saying they're terrible, but they're about as exciting as watching paint dry.These shorts seem to have a mind of their own – and it's not a smart one. They're supposed to be "classic-fit," but apparently, they didn't get the memo. It's like they were cut to fit a completely different species. If you've got an ounce of muscle or any sense of style, prepare for disappointment.And don't get me started on comfort. You'd think a pair of cotton shorts would feel like clouds caressing your legs, right? Well, not in the case. Well made, great price point, just didn’t fit properly - Some shorts do and some shorts don’t. Sadly, these were a don’t.
