It works and great price
This replacement battery for my Ryobi tools is at a fraction from Big Box. It fits charger perfectly and works like original. Iโll buy it again when my other original bites the dust.

Dont buy these
Great value for the dollar, but the low starting amperage of the battery won't start my leaf blower without feathering the motor in short bursts. Once started works fine. The Ryobi's didn't have that problem My hedge tool and weed Wacker work just fine with them. I bought two of them same thing on each, so know it's not the blower UPDATE 1-2-22 Don't buy these 1 out of 2 died and had to send in for a replacement which came in not working . I tried on all my three ryobi 40 Volt units wont power up Will stick with the higher price of OEM batteries

Battery was not 6AH as advertised
I bought this battery to replace my Ryobi 6Ah battery used in my Ryobi lawn mower. I was skeptical of the 6Ah rating as it was nowhere near the size of my original Ryobi 6Ah battery. My old battery would complete my entire lawn on 3/4 of a charge. This battery, (I fully charged prior to first use as directed) died after completing less than 1/2 of my lawn. When I tried to recharge the battery my charger gave an error message and would not recharge the battery. I know the charger is functional as I have another Ryobi 4Ah that charges correctly. This battery was N/G!! Refund went flawlessly.

It does last!!!
Came fully charged! I used it with my lawn mower and was able to cut my grass without any stoppage. Only 2 bars left on it after finishing.

Works OK, but I don't think it is 6.0Ah even new -- updated a year later
I bought this to supplement my 3 year old Ryobi 4Ah battery when using my Ryobi lawnmower, as that battery doesn't last so long any more. This battery, much less expensive than a new Ryobi, doesn't quite have the energy capacity of the Ryobi brand battery when it was new -- as measured by how much of my lawn it can cut before giving up. And of course, the real test will be for how long it remains useful. Pro - price is great Con - weaker than I think it should be Unknown - lifespan Overall, I think it's a good deal, if not fully as advertised. But "time will tell". ----- ONE YEAR LATER ----- After some use, I don't think I'd buy this again. It doesn't hold a charge well -- that is, if I charge it, it will self-discharge in a week or so, unlike the now-4-year-old Ryobi battery. And based on lawn mowing, it doesn't now have the capacity of the older 4 Ah Ryobi battery.

NOT a quality Ryobi battery
I bought this battery last fall when I needed an extra battery to blow the fall leaves. My 4Ah Ryobi that came with my blower ran about 20 minutes on a charge. This one ran about 17. I figured I had just bought a 4Ah battery masquerading as a 6Ah battery. For the blower, that was fine. The price was good. It is now 9 months later and I used it with my string trimmer and was wondering why the grass was just being pushed around rather than cut. I put the original Ryobi battery in and the trimmer worked as it should. I don't have a meter to measure the rotational speed of the trimmer, but the original battery was definitely faster. If you need a battery to use for a trimmer, don't buy this one. As a side note, I had to get out a small file to open up the slides in order to push this battery onto the trimmer. Right there, that should have told me something just isn't right about this battery.
