First Impression: exceeded all my expectations
I'm a worship leader at my church, and putting aside all the theological implications, that means that I play a pretty decent amount of guitar. When it came time to purchase a new strap for my guitar, price wasn't as huge as a motivating factor as much as reliability. The TANKA strap arrived yesterday right as I was loading my gear for Friday night worship. I took it out of the package, and brought it with me.The leather is wonderfully fragrant - it smells like leather ought to. And it's soft!! I was expecting something that I'd have to spend a whole time waiting to break in, but the strap felt so comfy from the first time I put it on.Between the multiple holes for the strap peg, or the different loops for the "tail" there are a ton of positionings to fit any playing style, any body shape and any guitar.I am using it on an Epiphone AJ-220sce. As an average sized adult I found it to be very comfortable out of the box.During the set, I found the strap to be stable and did not experience any slipping. The weight of my guitar felt very evenly distributed and I felt very confident about moving around without unhooking anything.Looks wise, I need a strap that's not so fancy in the looks department. I find overly ornate straps to be a little contrived. The simplicity of the strap, especially in the Hazel, lends itself to a real traditionalist look.To summarize, my very first experience with this strap is very favorable, and I'm sure I'll be able to update this review sometime down the line and still have a favorable opinion.

Softest and Best Leather Guitar Strap Available
I ordered this guitar strap because I've ordered from Your Forte Products before and have always loved their products and can definitely trust them. Here is what I've noticed and experienced:1. The leather is EXTREMELY soft. I let my wife check it out and she too was amazed at how soft and comfortable it is. NICE!2. The strap is easily adjustable. It basically consists of (2) pieces of leather and is super easy to adjust it to fit just right. Works Great!3. The customer service is excellent. Check out their seller reviews and product reviews! One thing I've seen is that Your Forte Products comments on every single review. I even wrote these guys about their guitar hanger and got a quick and personal reply from a REAL person! In conclusion, I would highly recommend any of Your Forte Products' items. Their customer service is GREAT. I love their personal attention they show to their customers. I look forward to doing business with them again.

The perfect non-slip strap
As everyone points out, this strap is extemely soft. One thing to bear in mind is that the suede side that rests on your shoulder is extremely non-slip. So if your guitar is well balanced, it's perfect. If your guitar is neck heavy, or you are in the habbit of shifting the guitar while wearing the strap, it will not budge. I found some guitars were fine but others tugged because the guitar wanted to shift, but the strap would not slide to allow repositioning, even a little. But the strap was so nice, I tried reversing it(!) Perfect. It doesn't look as nice but it's just as soft and it moves as you play.

Great straps, unfortunate branding.
I bought several of these because the leather is extremely soft and comfortable. Only reason I'm deducting a star is because they've pointlessly "branded" the straps by stamping their name on it. It's barely readable (it's in fact upside down on one of them, which screamed "Made In China" rather than America, as advertised), and makes each one look like it has a distracting defect right below the shoulder.I can understand why they want their marketing on it, but I certainly don't, particularly when it's done this poorly and pointlessly. I bought four of them before realizing how much that small detail would bug me, but oh well. They are nice supple leather anyway. Great product, rather amateurish marketing.

Great Strap!
WOW! I just recieved my TANKA Guitar Strap. NOTE: Pay attention when you're ordering. I meant to buy the 3" strap but must've got out of the page and went back into it and I think the page just defaulted back to the 2". A coworker saw the strap and felt it (so amazingly soft) and when I told him I was going to return the 2" for the 3" strap, he bought it from me so I've just placed my order for the 3". You really can't imagine how soft this strap is until you feel it for the first time. I haven't worn it yet as I'll just wait for the 3" to come in but appears to be a product of fine quality. Very attractive strap. As mentioned in other posts, this strap sheds and will continue to shed until until you wear it in. Good reason to practice. Otherwise I very happy with my purchase.

Comfortable, high-quality and fully adjustable strap yet terrible branding
I purchased the 2" black leather strap. The leather is extremely supple and distributes the weight of my guitar well.I am 5'5" and it's been surprisingly difficult to find a guitar strap that fits in terms of length. I have mine set to the absolute shortest and there's a bit too much extra leather hanging off (I may trim it to a reasonable length) but it fits!!I deducted a star because Forte stamped their brand name in the leather in a very obvious spot right below my left shoulder. It marred the beautiful leather in an obvious place on the strap and simply looks terrible.

Rustic. Soft. Durable. Comfortable.
This guitar strap is simply gorgeous. I got it a few weeks back and have now played for many hours with it. I have the 3" strap on a regular size dreadnought guitar. There was one problem I ran into when I went to put the strap on my guitar, I only have one guitar strap button. So, like with the old strap it is replacing, I used a sleek rope to tie one end underneath the strings - just above the nut. I also like to play with the guitar almost up on my chest, so the versatility in adjusting the length is a big plus. Works great for me!The leather, not only smells great, but is soft, thick, and heavy-duty.If you're looking for a rustic, good-looking, and durable guitar strap, HERE IT IS!
