This is a great resource I wish I had the first time. Thank you. And I greatly appreciate the link to see visuals in color to keep the cost down.

Honestly, this is not worth the money. There are so many mistakes in the book it is ridiculous. The first I came across on page 28 when it labeled a photo as the Trevi Fountain in Rome, when it clearly was not. After that it was a mistake on just about every other page. The organization is chaotic and doesn't make much sense at all. If this were $15 or $20 I would say go for it. The practice test is helpful and it does highlight a variety of different themes, styles, vocabulary words, artists, processes, theories, etc...but who knows how reading this book is going to impact my test scores. I take the test in 2 weeks so I will have to update this review when I know how much information was included in the book that actually pertains to the test but as of right now I would not recommend buying this. Read The Annotated Mona Lisa instead.

As someone who purchased the flashcards to study for the AYA Social Studies exam, I find the book much more useful. I also like the fact that there is a practice exam at the end with explanations. I would highly recommend this book for anyone who is studying for their national boards.
