Good light. It has hung over my kitchen table for a few years and has illuminated many late night homework sessions and dinners. It is not particularly fancy, but it is exactly what I was looking for.

I purchased 5 of these lights a couple years ago and needed a matching one for an area in my cottage that didn’t have enough light. Was so happy to find this matching light and will install it next year in June when I get up to the cottage. Easy to install and they work and look great!

Great value for the money spent. I like the look and the function a lot. Only knocked it down a star because I think its misleading that they show only the pendant option cord. If you choose the wall plug in option the cord looks like a standard cord not the fabric covered one you see in the advertisement. Otherwise works and looks great!

It's a lamp, a very good one. It does what it's supposed to, looks nice, feels well made, and the cord is long enough that it's pretty versatile. I was able to hang it a decent way into my room, and I wanted to avoid the swag look, pulling the cord taut and close to the walls/ceiling. It came with two hooks and other installation pieces for tying up extra cord I believe (I only used the hooks). The switch is the clickable button variety rather that the spinning wheel sort. I'm not sure if there are separate names for these switches, but I'm happy with the one installed on this lamp, it's doesn't seem like it'd break any time soon. Also, the underside of the lamp is black as shown in the picture, which was welcome as white and reflective lamp shades provide a unpleasant harsh light in my apartment bedroom. This lamp provides a cozier light when coupled with a 60w edison bulb. Overall, I'm really happy with this, it's a great lamp.

I bought this light to hang over an area that normally doesn't have light but I wanted to set up a plastic table and chairs for the holidays. This was perfect for playing games and being able to read cards and directions. I have a 60 watt bulb in it and it's not too bright. I love that it's adjustable and plug in so you can move it anyplace you want. This will come down and be moved someplace else after the holidays. It was so easy to hang because it comes with plastic hooks and we have exposed conduit so it was a snap. It looks sleek and I got a lot of compliments on it.

Love this very simple, straightforward pendant light! We had originally wanted a very similar pendant light from IKEA, but decided we wanted one we could plug into an outlet instead of having to install into the ceiling. This was the perfect solution! We purchased some black hooks to blend in with the chord, but the light comes with some steel hooks of you don't want to purchase hooks separately. It's light enough, but you will almost definitely need to use dry wall anchors (some are included with the hooks). Does show fingerprints, so you might want to wear gloves while installing. Overall, great product!

This ended up working ok for us after some effort and white paint. Right at the bottom of the cup that mounts to the ceiling, there is a grommet the wire slides through. A set screw is used to pin the wire down and keep the lamp from pulling the wire out of the cup. They also had a simple knot tied in the wire above the cup, which was fine. I needed to shorten the wire for our application, but the plastic set screw could not be removed. I tried both metric and inch size allen wrenches. Any that fit inside would slip. I ended up carefully drilling out the set screw so I could slide the wire to the height we needed. I mounted it about 8 feet from the floor under a 9 foot ceiling. The original length of the wire was probably close to 3 feet long. So on a typical 8' ceiling, it would be about 5 feet from the floor.Secondly, ALL of the fixture was black, even the underside of the lamp hood. Using a 100 watt equivalent LED still didn't do much for lighting the 14x15' room. I painted the bottom side of the hood white and it was enough to work for us.

Perfect love this light adds an industrial look to my entrance. Instructions for installation where not included in the box so I had to fiddle around a bit to adjust the length of the light. Was an open box deal so the price was grate really minor ding easily camouflaged with a small paint brush and mat black paint.

This was a perfect option for us since we’ve never had electrical hook up above our table for a fixture. The plug in option is great, it’s quick.

The Globe Electric light was everything that I had hoped it would be. It was easy to hang and looks wonderful in my entry way. And it "goes" very well with an IKEA chandelier that I have over the dining room table, that happens to be in the same room as the entry way. So that was a very important consideration.All in all I LOVE it!
