Rapture Untamed is a perfect title for this book. There is nothing tame in this book
From Risqué Reviews [...]Summary:They are called Feral Warriors--an elite band of immortals who can change shape at will. Sworn to rid the world of evil, consumed by sorcery and seduction, their wild natures are primed for release . . .The most combative--and tormented--of all the Ferals, Jag is a predator who hunts alone--until daemons terrorize the human population. To stop them, he partners with Olivia, a flame-haired Therian temptress as strong as she is beautiful. But Olivia is no ordinary immortal. The survivor of a vicious supernatural attack, she possesses a deadly and forbidden skill--one that must remain hidden, especially from the powerful Feral Warriors. As Jag and Olivia's sensual dance of dominance and seduction gets wilder and hotter, a dark force sets its sights on Olivia, threatening to destroy everything she has vowed to protect. And the only one who can save her soul is the arrogant jaguar shifter she lusts for but dares not love.Review:Two immortal races battle the Daemon's for dominance of earth, The Mage, or magic ones, and the Therian's, the mighty shape-shifters. Five thousand years ago, all Therian's were capable of accessing their animal natures. All could shift. Desperate to imprison Satanan and his Daemon horde, the Therian's combined forces with their enemy, the Mage. In order to do this both races were forced to contribute most of their power. When the battle was over only one Therian from each of the ancient animal lines still retained the strength and ability to shift. Now only nine men, the Feral Warriors, are all that stand between the world and Satanan's latest plan to escape. With the leader of the Mage infected with a powerful dark spirit, they fear that Satanan now has control of him. Stealing the souls of his own people, these soulless inhabitants are looking for a way to free Satanan and his army. As this new threat strengthens, the Ferals are being pulled in too many directions to be affective. Lyon, the leader of the Warriors has decided to ask for help from the British Guard, an elite group of highly trained Therian fighting units. Now finally with a purpose in her life Olivia isn't going to let anything stand in her way. After surviving a vicious attack at the hands of the draden, remnants of the powerful Daemons, she now possesses a deadly ability that she must keep hidden, particularly from the Feral Warriors. Olivia has been a member of the elite Therian Guard for more than three hundred years, but this is the first time working with the Ferals. Nothing was going to stand in her way and ruin this for her. All the Ferals were strong and overpowering, but only one drew her attention, the Feral Warrior, Jag. He simply annoyed her. Yet as hard as she tried, she couldn't ignore the raw sexuality that emanated from him.Jag has never been accused of being charming, a jerk yes. Jag knew he was a jerk, even the other Feral Warriors knew it, and considering the way he and Olivia first met, she now knew it too. From the moment Jag first saw Olivia he wanted her, regardless of the less than stellar way they met, or the fact that she wanted nothing whatsoever do with him. So maybe for Jag it's a good thing he's a jerk, because no matter what he had to do, Olivia was going to submit to him in all ways.Rapture Untamed is a perfect title for this book. There is nothing tame in this book, actually at times it's even a bit disturbing. Pamela Palmer has taken a big chance in the direction she takes with the two main characters. Some may find it a bit offensive how Jag is portrayed, and is his treatment of Olivia; some will find they can't turn the pages quick enough. I was at times both. "Jag" is a perfect name for the lead hero in this story, and not because his animal is a jaguar (if you get my drift). Throughout most of the story you are going to think of Jag as thoughtless, and vulgar, and believe me he is. However, as his character develops you will begin to see that this is a shield he uses to keep everyone from getting close to him. As to why, you are going to have to read the book. Olivia's character is put between a rock and a hard place as she tries to deflect the attraction she feels for Jag. That attraction is going to be her downfall and her salvation. If you have enjoyed the other books in this series you are going to be blown away with this one. This is one trip you are not going to want to miss, be prepared for volatile sex scenes, explosive action, and characters that are downright "feral". I appalled that Pamela Palmer did not shy away in her portrayal of this story. She had to know that she was going to shock some of her readers, but also had to know there was no other way to write it. That takes courage~

Hunger Untamed/ By Pamela Palmer
This book starts out with love and betrayal a thousand years ago with a lost so great it tears the heart and soul into. Leaving only gray and no feeling to live with. It brings us to this time and a man looking to save two of his friends from a spirit trap. To do so he must open up an old wound and find the woman he had been let to believe had been dead for a thousand years, as she is the only one who can get his friends out of the spirit trap. Mean time she's been fighting a battle of her own, trying to keep a poison from killing her people for the last thousand years. If she does what he wants before she finds the cure all her people will die. Its a matter of trust. If they had trusted enough to share a thousand years ago a lot of good people could have been saved both his and hers. In order to win they're going to have to learn love and trust as they never have before. Lots of action, and battles between shape-shifters,mist woman, and the evil Mage.I hope you enjoy this 4th book of the feral warriors series as much as I did. I can't wait to read the next one. A.D.A.

Best one so far!
This series is a very well written and each one is better than the last. This one is the best of the series so far! In the previous books in this series, Kougar has seemed to be the quiet one or at least the one I have known the least about. I have been so curious about him, though a great warrior he has not talked much about himself to the other Feral warriors, I didn't even know that he had been mated before or that he was one of the original feral warriors! (I don't want to give away too much) In this book his back story comes into play and opens up to understanding of why he acts the way he does. There is a lot in this book that fills in how everything started. I was very intrigued and entertained by this book and couldn't put it down until the end! 5 stars definitely.

Another great read
I've been reading Pamela Palmer's books since the first in this series of books and they just keep getting better and better. I didn't think she could outdue herself since reading that last book in this series but I was wrong. If you are looking for a great series of books to read this is the one that I would suggest reading, it's been a lot of fun and I am looking forward to reading the next in this series. The males are so Alpha just the way I like them and the females can surely hold their own against these alpha males they meet. The combination of scorching sex scenes, outstanding action scenes and a plot that will keep you reading into the wee hours of the morning should be enough to make this your next purchase.

bored to tears
i read the rviews sorry ladies this one was very slow and boring. i got tired of kougar and his you better save my friends attitude and ariana and her i am the queen trying to save my warriors nonsense. in the beginning okay but in the middle of the book it was like the author ran out of material. it was either too much thinking or too much sex. mind you i love good sex scenes the dirty the better, but the sex was getting them no where. the story got lost for me.i was more interested in wulfe and his story!!!.pinky and xavier also got my attention. these two were dull. hopefully hawkes story will bring back the glory of the ferals. the other stories were great i enjoyed them it was what kept me reading.

Another great Feral Warrior book!
Pamela's heros are always the perfect blend of sexy, naughty, and vulnerable. They are irresistible and this latest is not exception! Her take on shifters and paranormal feels really fresh. I recommend starting at her first book in the series and going in order, but this one could stand alone too. She is not afraid to write "hot' and even though we always know that the H/H are going to get together at the end, she really knows how to play up the tension keeps you wondering! The whole series is great! Get it!xox

Sometime it takes forever to reach their happily ever after conclusions
All the Feral books have issues. Sometime it takes forever to reach their happily ever after conclusions, other times it's too soon and not long enough. The stories are cute but my faves are Tighe and Wulfe.

hmm.. wasn't sold on this one
The latest in the feral warriors novels surrounds the race against time to save Hawke and Tighe who have been caught in a spirit trap. In 11 days it will be too late to save them and the animal spirits will be lost bringing the feral numbers down to just 7.Kougar knows there is only one person who can save his brothers - his mate he once believed dead. He journeys to find her and force her to help. Along the way he must deal with his feelings of betrayal from her severing their mating bond, faking the death of her and her people and abandoning him to misery without his mate. When i first started reading i thought this would be pretty good; the concept seemed decent and i was interested to find out about Kougar as he has been the most mysterious feral to date. In this i was not disappointed - finding out about the past ferals, his friendship with Hawke and his difficult youth were very interesting and added more to the series as a whole. The plot was quite exciting - Queen Ariana's maidens were particularly trigger happy! Once again the ferals had to find and defeat a villainous Mage plotting to kill them - one which has found a way to use the Ilinas against them. This was all very good and why the book earned 3 stars. However there is a but with this book. Once Kougar and Ariana were thrown together - they were constantly at it like rabbits! Too much. It actually got really boring trying to find bits of plot in between all the sex! Most people (including me) like this even to quite a high extent in a book but not to the point you start skipping pages here and there because oh here they go again (and again and again) Definitely a fault with this book - i just couldn't be bothered to continue reading about it.One very good point about this book was sneek peeks about what Wulfe is up too. Another feral we have yet to hear much about other than he was mated to the previous radiant Beatrice. Humans were captured at the end of the previous novel and the ferals are struggling to wipe their memories (something they must do if they plan to release them). Wulfe connects with one of the women (Natalie) and i actually found these moments some of the best in the book. Not so good when the book isn't about them (i imagine his story will becoming soon).I am just about to start the next book in the series and hopefully its better than this one.

good read
Kouger has known his soul mate has been alive for 20 years but believes her souless and tainted with evil so he hasn't been to see her, all of this is about to change because hawke and tighe have been caught in a spirit trap by an evil mage and the only person who can save them is ariana his soul mate.As the story unfolds you realise what has happened to ariana and the pair come together to defeat the mage and save the two feral warriors trapped. The story was good, not great but good and enjoyable, I would have preferred to give a 3.5* but gave it 4* as I didn't think it deserved just 3*, I wasn't sucked into the story but it held my interest without flicking pages. The two main characters are good but the other characters were lacking and flat. I have read the others in the series and feel the same way about those so I will read the next installment but I won't rush out to buy it.

Liked all of the books so far
Having read the other books in the series, Really wanted to see the characters come alive.Kougar up till now didnt really have much impact on the rest of the ferals lives. This explains why he is so cold ,the passion simmering is for his queen.
