This 5' x 7' rug adds a bit of that La Jolla vibe to any room in the house. The tightly woven threads feature beige warp threads interwoven with black and beige in an attractive, alternating pattern.Despite being thin, the rug is well made. I found no missed, loose, doubled, or hanging threads. We tried it first in the kitchen. While I liked the warmth and appreciated avoiding the cold tiles. . . Unfortunately it would not work with our decor. It worked great in our guest bathroom. The black and beige looks wonderful with our slick, classic, black accented motif.If these colors will work with your decor it is a good choice.*Upon arrival remove plastic, lay flat, secure each corner with heavy object.*Wash in Cold water, hang to dry. To soften after drying - toss in the dryer with two dryer sheets and fluff for 10-12 minutes.

While I like the colors of this rug, the photo shows them being brighter and more intense than they actually are. The rug colors are muted blue. It's the white thread that is woven through the blue. It makes the rug lighter looking in person.The rug still matches my room and décor very well. It just looks different than the pictures. This is a flat woven rug so it is not soft like carpet or a plush rug. I was layering it on top of a softer rug, so the transition to this material feels odd. I might move to a room without any rugs but it will need a slip guard underneath. It has no grip and will slide right out underneath you. All in all, it is a nice rug and good addition to our house.

This is a thin, lightweight rug so it is more of a ‘throw rug’ in my opinion for a tile floor etc. It doesn’t stay put well on top of carpet. It works great on the cold tile in our bathroom and the sandy hue goes with our beach theme in there. Because it is thin it goes in our washer easily for cleaning. Fairly durable, but looks like it might start to fray after numerous washes. I try to let it hang dry. Colors haven’t faded so far. Fairly tough weave. Just a nice simple pattern. It is very easy to roll up and move. Indoor only.

With a brand like Calvin Klein, you could expect a good graphic design. This light blue stripes are subtle and elegant and gives a sense of tranquility. It complements both dark and light color furniture. It is, however, very thin, so it requires padding underneath it to make it stay put. For the same price without the brand name, there are definitely other rugs out there that are thicker and good looking. Overall, this is still a nice rug. The light blue rug is very neutral in color and design, so it is very versatile.

The shades of blue in this modern CK flatweave rug are so calming and lovely. The rug couldn’t fit my bedroom decor any better as I have the whole line of the CK Bamboo Flower bedding that has blue accents and even has contrasting blue striped shams. So I’m really thrilled with the colors and pattern of this rug. This is a poly, cotton, rayon blend flat weave rug and both sides have the same texture. So it does not have any nonslip backing and will need a rug pad in most cases. It not a bulky rug but has enough weight to feel like great quality and also lay perfectly flat. It’s wearing well so far. Having lived in San Diego a number of years, I think it’s a perfect name for this rug as it mixes in beige and lighter shades with the blue and has such a relaxed, beachy vibe yet it’s stylish and sophisticated too. I’m crazy about this CK rug. 5 stars. Made in India.

My wife loves the look of this carpet for my son's bedroom. It has nice rich color.The quality feels nice, but it is not thick. I was a little surprised at that, but it feels sort of like the thickness of an outdoor rug (but it is not). The black threading throughout makes it look conservative. It's attractive.

This rug is reversible, so there's no backing on it. I would suggest you put down some non-slip backing in a heavy traffic area. It's a rug with tight pile, so it's easy to clean with a vacuum or broom, and great for pets or kids. It looks sharp. I got the beige and black and it would look nice in just about any room.These rugs are made by Nourison for Calvin Klein. They recommend you only spot clean with Woolite or another compatible carpet cleaner (apply the Woolite with a soft bristle brush, rinse the water, and extract with a vacuum or extractor. The rug should then be dried by air or low-temperature hair dryer). Washing the rug any other way voids the warranty.

We're pretty satisfied with this rug. It offers a bold contrast in what is an otherwise vanilla room. It may be difficult to tell, but the alternating black and gray stripes increase in size across the length of the rug. So the rug itself offers a little complexity in design. The Weave is tight and I expect that this will last us for many years to come.In terms of setting it lives and our oldest son's room right now - he's only 7 - but I could see this and a room with more modern fixtures and decorations. Something that would really pop and a minimalist setting. It stays put pretty well on top of carpet but I would think that it would be more attractive on nice hardwood floors.
