Alsop's Tables: Volume I: (Alsop, Alsup, Alsip, Allsop, Alsep, Allsup, Alsopp, Allsopp, Alsept, etc.)

Exactly what I was hoping for. A comprehensive look at Alsops from all over the east coast, including detailed descriptions of the source documents that are usually so lacking in books like these. Was very helpful in my research and serves as a great example of how informative a family history can be. Had this been written in the 2010s, I'd probably whine a little bit about it lacking a bibliography with the places online I could find some of these documents myself, but Alsup did the legwork back before ancestry.com made it easy for people like me to do this stuff. Gotta respect that.

Alsop is my late husbands name. He always dealt with Jerry D Alsop (the author) over the years discussing heritage. I have two previous books which I will keep. I bought three copies of this book to give one to each of my children. A couple of them have already received the book and find it informative.
