to do the job
this is so easy to use its just what i need my hair is fine and hard to do but this is perfect size and it gets all the hair to be curled very happy

Bought this to do my mother's thin and short hair, worked wonderfully.
Can't use a regular iron on my mom, too scared to burn her. This one worked very well, easy to use, no stress. She has thin and short hair, this iron makes my life easier.

Differences between 1 inch and 3/4 inch.
I purchased the 1 inch barrel and liked it very much. I also wanted to try the 3/4 barrel for styling around the face. There are differences between the two that are not clear in the product description. The 1 inch has a lighted temperature display, has auto shot off, and comes with a travel pouch. The 3/4 has one only (lower) temp, so no lighted temp display, NO auto shut off, and no travel pouch. It is also smaller in size, which I like. Both are dual voltage. Both give a good lift and curl well. The auto shut off is important to me so I will return the 3/4 one and look further.

Tiny curling iron, big results
I will start off by saying I almost sent this back without trying it. I thought I was ordering a blow dryer brush. This is a simple, small curing iron, with plastic bristles and no heat settings - you simply plug it in and turn it on.Here’s what I love about this iron:(1) My hair is straight and fine, so I always use a high heat setting and this unit gets hot.(2) My hair is about chin length and I often burn myself with the hot irons. You would have to make a conscious effort to burn your self with this iron. Only the iron heats up. The bristles are stiff and do not get hot to the touch.(3) I need to add volume to may hair and this is exactly what this does. I section my hair, start close to the roots and pull it through my hair. It lifts my hair and gives me instant volume.(4) It is small and easy to use.I doubt this would be a good choice if you had long, thick hair, but for my hair it is perfect.In conclusion, I can’t use this brush to dry my hair, but I will be using it every day for the lift.

The correct size.
This is the correct size for my short hair. I had a 1inch barrel and the curl was not tight enough to last. This 3/4 in. barrel does a good job for curly hair. Fast to heat and easy to curl.
