Seems to work fine. Fully charged out of the box and was able to charge my iPhone (5c) and my wife's iPhone (4) no problem with the included charging adaptors. Plugged the USB cable from my GPS and it powered the unit without batteries and then also charged the batteries when they were installed.PROS: Easy enough to use right out of the box. Actually works as advertised. Rugged, outdoor case looks like it will take normal wear/tear of hanging from a backpack when hiking. Integrated carabiner hole instead of a flimsy cloth/metal clip like other brands.CONS: Directions are printed really small and hard to read. Not much to them though so they really don't tell you a lot.Directions do state it will take 24 hours of sunlight to charge the battery. Carabiner that comes in the package is too small to actually fit through the carabiner hole. Will have to replace with your own, larger, carabiner to use.

The solar charging doesn't really work well at all. Other than that it's a very nice charger, I'm able to bring it and let me and a couple of friends charge their phones when we're out at the river or a night on the town. Solid construction and rugged enough you don't have to worry if you drop it. Customer service was pretty good too.

flash light turned on by itself can't shut it off need to know how to shut off flaslight . did press the button to no avail it does not charge when flash light us on

This charger is super cool, It has 2 USB ports for charging and a cool flash light. It takes about 3 hours in direct sunlight to charge the battery. We charged 2 phones and it still had power left over.

My husband loves it! He hasn't used the solar feature yet but it works great as an extra battery.

Nice and strong have a s7 and charged 3 times ... more than enough... useful in long trips

I'm a mom of 2 boys living in Arizona. Frequently I am I'm areas of nothing and if my van were to die I would have to rely on people to stop and help me if my phone was dead or with a low battery. This helps give me peace of mind to not have to rely on others. I have a galaxy s5 and it charges my phone a bit over 2 times when the phone is almost dead and the charger is full which is great for me. The downside is it takes multiple days for the battery pack to get a full charge. Living in sunny Arizona that isn't a huge deal for me as I can leave it in the backyard to charge or if I'm out and about its easy enough to find a sunny place to put it (I don't leave it in my car since it gets so hot in there). I love the multiple connectors as my husband has an iPhone so we can both use it if we need to without having to have multiple cables. If you are the only one using it I would personally use a single cord though as this one is short (which is nice for being prepared for an emergency since that also means it doesn't take up my space. The included bag fits it nicely with the cable in there so I can make sure to keep them together and protected from anything in the diaper bag.I let my boys (11 mound 3 years) play with it for a while and they weren't able to cause it any damage even after being dropped on our tile floor multiple times. I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a solar charger. I wish it didn't take as long to charge as that does increase the chances of me forgetting it sitting in the sun and me not having it when I need it but I have gotten in the habit of charging as I use it so it's never more than half dead at any given time.It lights up when charging so you know how much battery there is.I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.
