Each page features a common question, with its answer and a verse from the Bible applicable to that topic.In the first section, questions include, amongst many others, who God is and what His character is, who Satan is, what sin is, why God allows bad people to succeed, where is God when terrible things happen, and why He sent Jesus into the world.The second section focuses on topics like why and how did God create the world and mankind, the Garden of Eden, do animals have spirits, and our responsibility toward creation.And the third sections tackles issues like the Bible and its importance, how to study the Bible, and Jesus and the gospels.Overall, “Has Anyone Ever Seen God?” is a good, basic introduction to many of the commonly asked questions about God and Christianity. Some of the answers are fairly generic, but this book offers a good overall synopsis — and it does it in a cute way with Weeks’ illustrations! “Gratitude” acts as a good general resource for those who already are believers, as well as new believers and those searching.Four stars out of five.Tyndale House Publishers provided this complimentary copy for my honest, unbiased review.

Sometimes we all have questions, whether we are new to the faith or have been following Jesus for a while. It can be hard to go to another person with your questions because our pride can get in the way. So, an excellent source to take your questions to can be a book. That’s the target of the new series of books from Tyndale Momentum that take a look at the questions that believers might have. I received a copy of Has Anyone Ever Seen God? 101 Questions and Answers About God, the World, and the Bible a few days ago, and I’ve been flipping through it and reading it ever since.In this book, Carolyn Larsen takes a stab at 101 of our most common general questions about the Bible and the God of the Bible. These questions include such questions as:Can God read my mind?Is God always truthful?How do we see God’s power?Why did Adam and Eve have to leave the garden?What is a testament?And there are many more questions besides those answered in a simple and easy to understand format.This book is a lovely book. It’s a hardcover with pastel colored pages and small whimsical drawings on each page. It has a slightly feminine feel to it, but it’s not so overwhelming that a man wouldn’t enjoy reading the book. This is a petite yet, jam packed book that I think would be such a perfect gift for a friend or acquaintance who was really searching and had lots of questions about God. In this title, there are 101 plainly spelled out questions and then brief, yet pretty through answers. There is a page per question and answer pair accompanied by some adorable illustrations and a coordinating verse. The format of the book almost reminds me of some the catechism or basics of the faith books I've been working thru with my boys, only in a prettier and more grown up edition.Again, I really feel this is a great little book to give a woman who doesn't have much knowledge about Christianity but wants to learn more. There's also two more titles to accompany this one- What does God really promise? and Can I really know Jesus?

This book written by Carolyn Lassen features beautiful illustrations by Amylee Weeks. In 101 short segments, Carolyn answers frequently asked questions regarding God. Many of the questions are the same that are asked by believers and non believers alike.Carolyn separates the book into three sections: Questions and Answers About God, About the Bible, and About the World. Each section features questions like "Does God Keep His Promises?" and "How did Paul Become a Follower of Jesus?"Using Scriptural knowledge (verses referenced in the text) and simple, concrete reasoning, she answers these questions with a depth and clarity that speaks of her faith and connection to God.I would recommend this to anyone who is seeking to delve deeper into their questions, whether at a beginning or more intermediate level, this text will serve as a springboard for faith.Note: I received this book for free in exchange for my unbiased review.

Has Anyone Ever Seen God is actually one of three books in which Carolyn looks to scripture to answer some of the most asked questions about God.This is a fairly compact book that looks at answering some very deep questions in a simple way. Through the ages entire books have been written on some of these questions. Keeping the answers to one page must have been hard! She does a pretty good job though and freely admits at times she just doesn't know the answer.The illustration on the cover and the overall design of this book is pretty cute. It would be a great present to a new believer. The answers she provides are not exhaustive, but they provide foundation knowledge.This book was sent to me by Tyndale Publishers for my review.
