What does the packaging look like?

It comes in a large flat box! It does say what it is on the box, at least mine did.

Is there room for a 4 year old to lay down inside?

I bought this for my 5 yr nephew and 1 yr niece to play with. I personally painted 2 sides because its so big. When they come over he colors it in slowly lol. As for the interior size. They both fit inside sitting just fine with room to play. He could lay down but one side would need to be open. There is a door on opposite sides. My niece likes to scoot through both doors (like its a tunnel). Plus its open on the top so it feels really roomy. Also it seems sturdy enough to survive them moving it around the room (I taped it up like mad when I set it up, its 2 pieces, each with 2 sides of the castle.) I think the tape helped keep it up. If you keep one side open your 4yr should be able to lay inside. It fits 2 kids comfortably (I don't think 3 would fit).

Does this fold away for storage?

The castle comes in 2 pieces (2 sides on each piece). When you assemble it, you need to do a bit of folding (the bottom folds inward, the sides, and the top part). You could fold it up whilst it is assembled But not fully.

Hours of fun

Bought this over Christmas break for my 3-year old and he loved it. Played in it a ton and colored/sticker some of it. Folds away great so I can get it out on a rainy day or next school break

I thought i was going to like this more than I did. My son loved coloring it and being inside it but it wasn’t the most sturdy (I mean it’s just cardboard.) It never fully stood up properly but it was still a lot of fun to have around

Would recommend

This was exactly as advertised, the house is big enough for a 7 year old to play in it. The assembly was fairly easy for a project that size, it took a about 8 to 10 hours with lots of breaks and 3 young children running around. The window is technically meant to stay open but i like the option of closing it so I skipped that step. It is 100% worth the money, its also bigger than other options and its honestly beautiful. Also quick shipping!
