I don't usually rate anything, but I am very pleased with these. I was looking for boots to wear on my motorcycle that weren't too industrial, and could be worn as casual wear while offering some kind of protection. I also wanted something that I could get on and off quickly if I wanted to nip up to the shops. I also wanted these to be cheap. These have ticked all the boxes, the latter because they have a side zip which bypasses the laces like many safety boots do. The only thing I'm not sure of is - whether they are waterproof and if so - how waterproof? Fit is really good, I've had badly fitting trainers from a well known brand, so I was relieved that these were spot on. They seem to be decent good quality. I would buy again and recommend.

Day to day outing for comfort in winter cold.

I have plenty of experience of wearing this type of boot in this price range so I had high expectations when I purchased this pair, size 8, my normal boot size. This is a very narrow size 8, and quite tight around the heel too. With thick winter socks, I suspect it will be too tight. The sole also feels thinner than I would expect, and not as much tread depth. Since the sole is always the thing that wears out first, that is a concern. The uppers look okay though and the side zipper is sturdy, so they are okay, but still they just are not as comfortable as other boots I've bought.

Sand D style. Bought these as summer hike boots. They are very very comfortable and fit extremely well. I am UK 8 and the size 8 fit perfect. Wore them for a day to get used to them. Took them on my daily hike/walk this morning, part of which is through a meadow.Now here is the bummer, first meadow takes about 10 minutes to walk across. My feet were soaking, the dew in the grass went straight through. There are no waterproof properties at all in this boot.They feel so good, I will keep but wear waterproof socks.Impressed with boots not with missleading description.
