Something so original and simple that I had never crossed the mind. This book explains everything you need to know about drying herbs and I promise you'll want to implement in your home immediately.

I've been growing herbs in my garden for years now, but having tried drying them. So, when I saw this book on sale on Kindle, I thought I'd check it out. I was surprised at the amount of detail included in this book. It seems, it depends on the type of herb as to how you go about harvesting, drying and storing them. And there are several ways of drying. Since I don't have a dehydrator I'm going to try the air drying method, which just means hanging them in a cool, dark, dry place. A comprehensive guide.

Reading a book on the medicinal purposes of different herbs had me ecstatic, especially when I realized that I already have most of them in my herb garden. So taking it one step further and experimenting drying them is a new adventure. Not only is drying your own herbs cheaper, but you also have control of the organic status of what you end up with. It is, I believe, much healthier than the commercial stuff. I loved reading through the book and how it teaches you all kinds of different things about herbs.

I picked up this book for my mom because she has a herbs - plant based business.... It's definitely informative on not only how to dry herbs, but what the different types are and how they taste.The only thing missing is pictures!

Did not like the introduction. Felt as though I was reading the script of a TV advert. One of those boring ones trying to convince you to get something you don't need. Glad I had the strength to get past that. This is a fabulous book for anyone who loves and cherishes herbs and like me would like to preserve them as well as prepare them for storing away. Get this book

Enjoyed the no nonsense advice on how to preserve all types of Herbs. Good suggestions for use and storage.Would have enjoyed ideas about all year round gardening of specific type herbs.Ideas on how to use the local farmers met for premium use.
