Super Bagel (White)

Great for travel, arguable the best out there. This is actually my second one (I owned a first generation). I love the size and function. Here I’ll point out what too many miss, this is a 2 prong input (not a 3 prong like most units) which makes it truly exceptional for travel - this means you can leverage not only the international adapter the unit it comes with, but also units if you prefer them or travel with them as a backup (here I’m going to reference the Anker 2 prong adapter with USB port and auto resetting fuse which is an amazing unit for size, weight and price, but also not an extension cord or one to many unit. Here I also will say the USB output is just a bonus or backup to to me as most of my devices and take higher power PD in, and frankly I want the better known brands providing the current protections to those devices). I will say the first one I got produced excessive heat during testing, but I swapped it out and the replacement is flawless. Like any electronics, make sure you test it when you get it. It really is tiny and light and highly functional, more so than any other unit I’ve come across (and I’m always looking).

I just can't get over how well designed the Super Bagel is. It's essentially two products: a universal power strip and a very compact universal plug adapter (US -> World) that fit together very compactly for storage. You can use either of them separately, but they're intended for use together. The bagel does include a USB-C port and a USB-A port, so you can charge your USB devices directly off it, but it's not primarily a USB charger. So if that's what you're looking for, you'll be better served by something else. However, this thing combined with a few Anker Nano chargers could make a very powerful and extremely adaptable charging station. I've been debating getting a travel power strip for years, but they always seem limited and/or bulky. Well, this is neither. It gives you lots of flexibility and is very compact. You can plug it in basically anywhere, and you can plug just about any plug into it, making it brilliant for situations where you may have many devices to power or have to share an outlet with others.

In the US, electric outlets are ubiquitous. In the room I'm in, there are eight double plug outlets. In many places, there’s just a single outlet in a room. The Super Bagel allows me to plug in up to five devices, a USB-A and a USB-C cord. Four of the devices can be a European, Australian, British, or Japanese type outlet. The only ding is that this doesn’t convert 220v/50hz power to 110v/60hz. However, almost all electronics can handle this conversion themselves. My computer, my phone, my tablet, my razor, even a travel light I brought had no problems operating on 220v/50hz. Check the product before plugging it in though.

Bought this anticipating my family of 5 would travel to Europe for vacation and would want multiple outlets. I tested the outlet bagel in US before trip and it worked fine as USB and multiple outlet extension. Unfortunately the adapter plug never functioned on our trip. So we ended up relying on very inexpensive adapters I had bought the children on Amazon. I could have bought 5 of the less expensive adapters for the price of this super bagel. Tech support suggested replacing the fuse in the adapter which I found impossible to do on our travel. No excuse for a brand new, never used adapter to not work and need a new fuse. Effectively an expensive paper weight. I am well beyond return window by time of travel so chucked it in trash.

This is a great addition to your travel tech. Worked great for me in Spain and France. Those who say it won’t work because of the center grounding pin in France don’t realize that the adapter pins unscrew to become longer to reach past the grounding pin. (Instructions could certainly be clearer about how to do that.) The adapter is pretty fragile in that position (that’s why I’m giving four stars instead of five), but it absolutely works. All your connection needs in a very compact package. It’s great for domestic travel, too, because it functions like a power strip giving you extra outlets.

This device is GREAT for travel (domestic or international). I used it in Vietnam and Indonesia, as well as all over the United States. Compact, easy to care; the travel case is excellent. The cord length could be longer, but that would make it bigger to carry, so for the trade-off, I'm very satisfied. The slightly shorter cord can be overcome with a longer phone charging cord. I appreciate that it has both a universal USB as well as a C-type dedicated port along with all the standard plug-ins. It does not "super fast charge" my Android, but the charging doesn't take all night.

This is truly a revolutionary universal adapter. I travel frequently and have tried many different types over the years, but nothing compares to the Super Bagel. I actually bought the first generation in Singapore when it was still a Kickstarter project, so I was really excited (and honestly lucky) to find the newer version here on Amazon. It’s compact, versatile, and incredibly well-designed for international travel. If you’re looking for a reliable universal adapter, you don’t need to look any further. This is the one.

Perfect for travel. Bouncing from hotel to hotel, you never know what kind of access you’re going to have to power. I bought the original long ago, and it worked great. The new one if even better. I’ve tried a lot of options, and this one is by far the most compact, versatile, and reliable one on the market. If you need something good for travel, this is it.

I've been a fan of the donut and now the bagel. It's very small and compact, yet it packs a punch when it comes to functionality. It's a multiple extension lead and a USB-C charger. What more could you want?

This product is not for use by Australians traveling outside of Australia- it is for Americans traveling to Australia- it is not adaptable. The customer service is beyond poor. They say 30 day return but try to get out of it- thankfully bought from Amazon who honoured refund. Don’t buy from this company- not trustworthy. The product looked flimsy like it will break easily so we dodged a bullet by it not working anyway and returning it before our travels.

After tried on it for awhile, it is not user friendly, need to bring along other adapter & wire when traveling. Also need to off the donut than be able to replunk in if u discovered forget to charge i pad for e.g. simply troublesome! Not sure is this could last? Any warranty? Many travel adapter is handy & simple ..

Compact travel adapter with a ton of plugs, plus USB and USB c plug ins. Even when the circuit trips it resets itself and is working again very quickly. The built in extension cord can usually get you close enough from awkwardly placed hotel/Airbnb plugs, to charge your devices.
