Golden California Figs 9oz

I could not find figs in my area, until today. These exact figs showed up, perhaps for the holiday season, in my Stop and Shop grocery store for only $3.00 a package. Very good product.

Fresh, sweet, delicious and wonderful, it hard to type with a mouthful of these figs. You gotta try hyffr. Nuu

These taste like a fig newton with out all the other processed junk that the cookies contain. I enjoy figs (almost as much as dried pineapple and dried mango). Healthy and tasty. Can't beat it!!

Delicious and fresh

Maybe I will be able to incorporate these into some recipe where they won't be noticed. They don't taste very good––dry and very seedy. I have had much better-tasting figs––sweeter and more flavorful. I wish I hadn't bought them.UPDATE (3DAYS LATER): Hoping these wouldn't be a total loss, I tried to turn them into jam that I might use between layers of a cake. I chopped them, added water and sugar and a few raisins and reduced them to jam consistency. I blended them as fine as possible with a little bourbon. THE RESULT: A waste of good bourbon, not to mention the water, sugar and raisins. It still tasted like an old burlap bag––with too many seeds!

These figs are great- I buy them regularly.
