TanmingWomen's High Waist Pleated Long Denim Skirt

This is a heavy duty, big skirt. It was exactly what I needed for a “Canadian Tuxedo” Pub Crawl. The waist is a little tight so I ended up going to an x-large. The denim is heavy weight, which was lovely for winter wear but won’t be great for summer. I wore this with red cowboy boots and a red belt and it looked great.

This skirt is much thicker than I expected. It is like wearing a pair of durable jeans. Unfortunately, the fit on this skirt was really tight and I had to return it. I considered reordering in a bigger size but the price point was a bit high for me and I was thinking I wasn’t 100% sure that a bigger size would fit right. I imagine if you can get the size right the cut of this skirt is really flattering. It would be a good skirt for the winter because of how thick it is.

I love this skirt but I ordered a large/12-14 and it was too small. I returned this one for a larger size because it is a beautiful, flattering denim skirt. It's a good price for the quality. I am not sure I will wear it in the summer because it is a heavier denim. But I can't wait to wear it during fall and winter with my boots. It also have nice deep side pockets. I definitely recommend.

The zipper failed after light use; otherwise I'm happy with the style and workman ship.

I really love this denim skirt, so much so that this is my second one. I had purchased one a year or two ago and loved wearing it with my western boots, but when I lost 65 pounds, it slid right down over my hips to the floor, so I ordered another in a smaller size. The fit is flattering, it washes up nicely and is not stretch denim.

This skirt was huge on me! I ordered a medium, going by the measurements on the seller’s site. My waits measured 30.5 inches. Going by the size chart, the size should be a medium. I normally wear size 4-6 in high waisted jeans. I’m 5’2” and 117lbs. I had a feeling I should order a small. This skirt fit so huge it just hung on me and would’ve fell off if I wasn’t holding it up! I don’t even thing going to a small would make too much difference. I do however love the quality and weight of it. Not sure if I should order an extra small. How many times do I really want to return this! I have been looking at denim skirts on Amazon for a long time, looking at a lot of them! Kept seeing this one and went with it.

I love the way this skirt fits! It is the perfect length ( longer midi) for me, and has a very flattering fit. I am 5 feet 5 inches, and wear a size 8 to 10 in dresses, skirts, and pants. According to the sizing guide, a medium would have fit me best. I ordered the large to give me some room for tucking in tops of different thicknesses. I also wear a pair of compression leggings underneath the skirt, so I wanted a little extra room. The large is a little big in the waist, but I bought a belt that I wear with the skirt. It makes it look more finished, while making the skirt fit my waist a little better. The weight of the denim is nice- heavy, but not too much so. I wash the skirt on the delicate cycle, cold water and hang to dry. It just needs a little touch with the iron and I am ready to go. In fact, I liked this skirt so much that I purchased another so that I would have one to wash and wear. I can highly recommend this skirt for winter, spring and fall. It might be a little too much for summer, but we shall see.

It smells a bit like someone dropped in into a warm pond full of ducks, left it there for a few weeks, then hung it up to dry. Washing it made it worse. It looked nice though and was pretty comfortable if you got passed the smell.

When I received the skirt, the first thing I wanted to do is to try it on. I tried to undo the zip, but to my surprise the zip was broken. So I could not try it on. It was a faulty skirt that was sent to me. I was so dissapointed.I will never ever purchase online from that website. That was the first and the last.

I wanted to order the skirt with a size 31” waist so I ordered the Large size as the description was the closest.Online description written= [Large]-Waist:31.49" Length:28.74".Reality (what was delivered)= [Large] - Waist:36” Length: 31”. A corner of one of the pockets is also frayed.Up to an inch difference would have been acceptable and I was willing to overlook the frayed pocket and the longer length but 4.5” bigger waist is just too much. Material colour is darker than what’s on the photo but okay with me and fabric quality is also good. Returns are a tedious process so I will probably just give this skirt to someone else. With the other reviews stating that the size run small, it looks like the quality control and assurance needs to be improved. In this day and age when online purchases and supply chain delays have become part of the norm, it is critical that the quality of the actual product and written description should match and be accurate (or close enough). We-the customers, Amazon and even the business owner do not need the extra time and other resources (i.e., extra logistics requirements) wasted and the angst in dealing with such avoidable incidents.
