10/10 would recommend to my friends and family
I grew up eating these cookies as kid and everything about them has stayed the same, the packaging, taste, shape, etc. The Chinese in general aren’t really fond of sweetness. So don’t have the expectations of eating a really sweet “cookie”. I will admit that having two lids is a bit of overkill but the company has always packaged these cookies in a double lid container since the beginning. Also I will say that the taste and texture is unique. But by no means whatsoever tastes like fish.

Terrible design of the tin box
Terrible design of the tin box. When you open the lid, there's another lid that needs to be open that is circular and must smaller than the size of the cookie rolls. So it's impossible to take the cookie rolls out without breaking them. The cookies are disgusting.

Round cover is designed to be tighter than the square one and will keep the cookie crispy
Check the expiration date when you buy, just like all other things you buy nowadays, $9.99 in Chinese supermarket.
