Fuel Injector Puller for Cummins Diesel Engine Dodge Ram 89-93 94-98 12V

This 5.9L 12V injector puller works well as it’s supposed to. No problems with it. Use the bigger nut for 94-98, and smaller nut for 89-93. Put the bushing over the injector, then the flat washer, and then the right size nut, and turn with a wrench or socket (18mm?). When the nut stops turning and starts to turn the injector, you can now pull out the injector with a pair of vice-grips.

An item that could easily be made yourself, but for as cost effective as it is just buy it. They send you the correct size nuts, so you dont have to source for them and it works reliably everytime.

This seemed to be a great puller and was plenty heavy duty enough. Had seen some other reviews that said the washer was too flimsy. This must have been fixed. BUT I couldn't use it on my engine because the pipe ID was just ever so slightly too small. My bad, because it clearly stated for an 89 vintage Dodge Cummins 6BT. My engine is a 1988 Cummins 6BT marine engine. Just be careful that your engine is exactly what they say in the description and you should be good. Use generous amounts of PB blaster around your injectors and they should come on out.

Had injectors out in less than 10 minutes with this tool (admittedly I had only 4 of them). Took takes an aggravating and potentially damage-inducing task and makes it a piece of cake.

Works. Had to add an extra washer to pull the injector out. Then was able to remove the tool and remove the injector.5.9 12v Cummins
