I received this product and was well pleased with the fact that it was placed in a bag within the container. This is the first time I have ever had anything like this and have heard that they are absolutely amazing at making a difference at the beach. Guess what? We live on the beach and I tested this thing out immediately.Upon removing the Cooling towel from the container, the instructions stated that you need to wash before first use. You can handwash this or machine wash. I chose to hand wash it and it worked well.*To activate, run under water for one minute then wring out the excess water.*To reactivate, simply soak in water and wring out excess.*For storage- wet towel pack in a sealed container.If you leave it out, it will dry and you simply need to moisten it.What is in the pictures?1- The container with the Cooling towel2- Uses as listed on the container.3- The towel after you place it in water and wring it out4- The cooling towel in dry form.SIZE- 26" by 17"- It is definitely long enough to wrap around your neck and have it hang over on both sides. If you have a measuring tape, test it at 26". It is pretty sizable.What is it made out of? PVA (as listed on the container)How long did it stay cool? From my experience.....I tested it in 90-degree weather on the Beach. I was out there 45 minutes and it stayed cool the entire time. If it had cooled down, I would have dipped it into my cooler and called it done......This thing is pretty cool.Does it irritate your skin? NO. It did not irritate my skin at all and my skin is sensitive and I have allergies to latex.....NO irritation. YAY!I ordered blue, check out the pictures. I am FINALLY able to write a review for this product. Tennessee weather isn't always cooperative for such items until late May or so. I have used this cooling towel several times now. I have found it to work pretty well. I saw where other reviews stated that it didn't stay cool for long period of time. But actually my experience was different. First, I did follow the directions on the container to wash it BEFORE your first use with a mild soap. I have used it laying out on the pool deck. Wetting it, I have used it on the back of my neck and on my face. It kepts me quite cool. As it starts to dry out (stays moist a long time) I found that if I folded it in multiple ways that it would continue to cool. I also read on another review that somebody compared it to a car chamois when it dries out. I too have found this to be true. But not a big deal. I ordered mine in pink and it has not gotten dirty. I would recommend this product.

Awesome towel! Was skeptic at first but once I learned how it works, it’s great! Keeps cool in its containers days after wetting. Does dry out if left out but all you have to do it run it under cold water and it’s back to normal. Does have a little smell, but only because I didn’t wash it right away (too excited to use it) keeps me cool after intense cardio workouts! Love wrapping it around my neck! Keep in bottle to store it, make sure to wash it!

First of all, it totally smelled horrible when I took it out of the package. I literally had to hand wash it completely and then I rinsed it and soaked it in cold water. I have smaller neck scarfs that work better than this one. I might just as well have used a towel, wet it and wrung it out. I am not impressed at all.

So this was a great chance to try this product out. I did as instructed and it wasn't too over cold but more than a typical wash cloth would be and it did stay that way and even colder if taken off and reapplied a bit later. So I gave it a 4 star rating. Just didn't stay as cold as I would have liked the first time wetting and applying to the area needed.

I received the towels on time (2 actually, but neither were pink; bummer) and I just love them.I use one in the early morning for my cardio workout. I usually get very warm working out; especially this time of year and this towel is a miracle; it helps me to cool down quickly so I can jump in the shower and get off to work feeling refreshed, energized and ready to tackle the day.The second towel I use for my after work walk and with the temps in the 90s this towel is a life saver; as I said before I get very warm when I work out and I love that this towel brings down my body temp to the point I now walk for an additional half hour; its like the cool down gives me an extra burst of energy! Thank You! I can't even begin to say how much I love these towels! If you are like me and get very warm working out; you will love this towel!

Love how cool it feels when I am working out. This is a must for exercise or cooling off on a hot day.
