Awesome chalk pen! So I got these wire folder organizers for my children and it came with neat chalk board name plates in the front. What wasn't neat was it was a weird chalk board material that didn't let me use regular chalk on it. You could hardly make out the names. With this it was so much easier to write the names. Also I tried to wipe it off and it did not come off all the way but before buying I reached out to the owners asking if it was compatible with the surface. They wrote me and gave me a tip if it does come off all the way use a magic eraser. Well that worked like a charm and it came right off!Update: I just tried to remove one of the names and it came off with the magic eraser but it did have a permanent shadow of the name. I tried windex, magic easer and vinegar oh and of course soap and water. I'm not super upset because this is for my children but just a warning to other consumers wanting to use this to change what they write and have a clean slate to write on.Update 10/26I tried it on another chalkboard surface and its permantly on there. I seasoned the surface before hand. The only thing that got it remotely off was using a magic eraser with diluted vinegar and took off the chalkboard with it. I do not recommend this product and would not purchase again.

Works pretty well and does what I need it to. Bought it for chalkboard-contact paper as it was recommended, and it leaves ghost images when erasing. Decided to use it for a permanent style outline and it works just fine. Using regular old chalk for the stuff I need to erase a lot.

I have several different chalk markers and have used them on many different projects. This is the finest tip marker that I have. I like that I am able to write smaller than I can with my other markers. It was easy to use, just make sure that you "prime" the marker first. Also make sure that use shake it up before you prime it. ( I forgot to shake before priming and only watery stuff came out before I remembered to shake it). Please remember too that these are to be used on non -porous surfaces (chalkboard paint is a NO NO) they will not erase off chalkboard paint! This is a great little marker. I check around and the price is right there as well. Found some for a little less but then you had to pay shipping. This is a fun pen. My daughter and I wrote on the car window for one of her soft ball activities. The pen writes well and easy. The color is white ink. It is chalk like and did no damage to the car window. We washed it off two days later with water from the hose and soap. I'm sure water alone would have taken it off. Great product.I was given a discount for my honest review.

Not crazy about this marker. It is not very "white" in color. More of an opaque white, so harder to see on label. I followed the instructions for use, so that isn't the problem

Liked the chalk, however it dried out quickly. Would have to press down on the pen to get more chalk out. Even then, the chalk would flow out quickly.
