Is it water resistant or proof

Neither, we recommend keeping it away from water. You really don't want to trim your hair when it is wet. Rinsing under water to clean it only removes lubrication from the blade. Trimming in the shower can be a great way to keep your bathroom clean - just do it before you turn the water on!

Can you get replacement blades

Can I shave at 4mm by adjusting the blade height adjustment to 1mm and using the 3mm guard or will it just shave based off the guard?

Correct! Add the guard length to the micro-adjust length to get the total. 4mm would be the 3mm guard with the blade all the way up (1mm).

Does it work for a neck trim?

Yes! I would recommend getting the zero blade as well for a very close neck trim.
