Fisherman Eyewear Slim Vision Rimless Reading Glasses, Tortoise

I first bought these at a fly shop in 2014 and found them on Amazon when I needed a replacement in 2016. Bought 6 more in 2016, 2017 and 2018 and will by 6 more in 2023 (I guess COVID extended their lifetime). They are perfect for fishing because they are extremely light, easy to put on and remove with one hand, and the neoprene case can be attached to a "zinger" so they are always handy.

These are very simple, lightweight frames. They are comfortable to wear and the magnification is good. They are inexpensive, hard plastic, but not uncomfortable, and the lenses are very clear. Given their cost, it's easy to buy several and leave them around the house or car.

Comfortable, light weight, easy to travel with and comes with a small case.

I bought these glasses primarily because of the side pieces. The gently curving shape makes adjusting the glasses comfortably on my nose easy. The lense shape is great for reading and the light weight adds to the comfort during long use.

I really love these. They are the most comfortable ultralight readers I have ever found, and I have several pairs. My only gripe is they come with only a thin, soft sleeve. If people are taking these fishing/camping, etc., they absolutely need a durable, rugged hardshell case of some sort. I had to get a third-party hardshell case. Developing an ultralight hardshell case specific to these would be brilliant. I always carry two pairs just in case. These are light enough and relatively inexpensive, so this is easy to do. The perfect ultralight reading glasses for camping.

These glasses are meant to be worn a little lower on the nose than where regular glasses sit. Because of this the arch of the nose piece is made a little wider. As a former optician I can say the optics appear to be very good and accurate, although I don't have a lensometer to check that. They are lightweight and the temples are flexible and meant to wrap around the head, rather than bend down behind the ears. I would not try to heat and adjust them; they are not that kind plastic.I like being able to wear them on the top of my head when not in use. They rarely fall off. Having used this kind and brand for more than 10 years, I can say they are durable and scratch resistant. One pair can last 2 years or more. The only sign of aging I ever see, is peeling of a layer of plastic on the inside of the temples. Usually what happens to end their useful life is a broken temple.I recommend them for people who have had an eye exam and know they need reading glasses of the same strength in each lens and have no astigmatism.

Lightweight, just got, so no opinion on sturdiness. Greart looking! Only negative is residue left by sticker on ear piecehard to remove. Also the little foam sleeve has a hang tag (like to hang on a rack in a store) that damages the sleeve some when you pull it off.

El plástico del armazón es frágil, se rompe facilmente. Me gusta el tamaño de la mica, aunque la calidad de la mica es normal, o sea no muy pobre ni muy nítido. Lo bueno es que son muy ligeras, y NO dejan marca en la nariz.

Os óculos são bons, leve e bem ajustado ao rosto.Muito caro o frete!

Entregados puntualmente, con cuidado normal no se han rayado en absoluto. No cansan ni molestan, y prácticos para llevar consigo. Las patas tienen una buena presión, que junto a un entramado evitan que se resbalen.

Práctico y economico
