Practical well made spoon!
Finally found a spoon with the right dimensions AND a hooked end to keep the spoon from falling in the soup. Love that the spoon is a deep oval with a flat bottom - helps when using with a fork to roll up noodles! Really like that the whole spoon is glazed, with no ceramic/clay visible on the spoon side - makes me feel more confident the whole surface of the spoon gets a good clean when washing it. Also, love the temperature resistance of a ceramic spoon - it doesn't get as hot as metal spoons which means I'm not as afraid of burning my tongue.My only critique is the spoon is a little heavy. It's not too obnoxious, it does feel sturdy. But we have a high quality light (thin) porcelain plate set, and it would be nice to have lightweight white spoons with a thickness that matches.Still a great choice for soup, yogurt, pudding desserts, and cereal!

Good quality but small
I already had a set of these spoons but wanted something bigger. The description on this led me to believe they would be large enough to use for a tasting or appetizer.These were just as small as the others but a little thicker.So these hold about a tablespoon of liquid.They seem to be good quality but I’m looking for something twice this size. I use them to showcase salad dressings.In my photo the bowl is 5” across. That is a small avocado and baby cucumbers.

Perfect for Phở
I’m very pleased with these soup spoons.They arrived taped together, wrapped in thick paper, rolled in a bubble mailer and finally, fit snuggly into an appropriately sized box. Each spoon had an removable barcode label which identified it as being made in China.The spoons fit perfectly in my large bowls that I use for Phở. The handle ledges rest nicely against the rims of the bowls as well. The color and finish are quite nice on them. I only found one small popped glazing bubble on one of the spoons, but it’s not too noticeable.The spoons hold a decent amount of liquid. 3 spoonfuls just about fill a 1/4 (59 ml) measuring cup.I’d recommend these spoons if you’re looking for 4 nice porcelain soup spoons.
