Period Mate Set of One 9.5 Inche Long Reusable Pads with Wet Bag (Pink Bubbles)

I am pleasantly surprised at how much I've enjoyed using this product. So far, it suits my needs. I only wish that the company offered this size/style in a pack of at least 5. More color options would be nice as well. The fact that an information card about the product and recommendations for care prior and after use are highly attentive on the company's part.

For my purposes this cloth pad is excellent. As a menopausal senior I don't need it for heavy menstrual use but rather as an extra precaution for incontinence. They are 9 1/2" long, a little longer than others I have, and I appreciate the inch or so extra while not being so long that any bulkiness shows when wearing pants. That said, I am a large person and on a tiny gal these might feel a bit long. I also appreciate that these pads have two snaps to give heftier women a little extra width at the wing area. Wing tip to wing tip is about 8 1/4". You can snap at 7" or 8. The two ends are rounded. The solid colored center goes from 2 to 3" at the top (due to the curve). The middle section is about 2 1/4" and the lower end goes from 2 to 3 1/2". I throw this pad in the washer and dryer but would not use dryer sheets as that would affect the absorbency, particularly if you are buying them for menstrual use.

delivery of product was great! The product itself, while i love the idea, there needs to be a way to hold it in place.

I tend to use a cup so I really only use these on really light days when I don't feel like putting the cup in or on really heavy days when I'm worried about overflow. These are surprisingly comfy and very soft, although since they aren't sticky they can slide a bit. I recommend using them with a pair of underwear that has a thicker crotch panel. Easily washable in the washing machine and even better if you rinse with cold water first. They come in a pouch, which is a tight fit to put all of them in it but it works and it's nice to have something breathable and compact to store them in. I'm considering also purchasing a pair or two of those Thinx panties which absorb stuff, so with the trifecta of a cup, these, and those panties I will NEVER EVER have to buy period supplies again and it is liberating and cheaper and comfier and I highly recommend it if you can swing it financially!

I just love these wonderful pads! So comfortable, I had purchased a few different name brands and Period Mate are by far the best. They have charcoal for odor that really works, they do not have PUL, which is a huge plus because the PUL material is so slippery, they slide. Period Mate have a wonderful soft mink material that feels luxurious next to your skin with two snap positions for correct fit and no leaking! As I got in my 40's tampons were on longer a comfortable option and pads are bulky and as I live in Florida and being active, the pads would leave horrible, painful rashes and sometimes if running or hiking for even 30 min to an hour the pads would start to fall apart from perspiration. I now have a better active life and feel secure with Period Mate! Easy to wash in washing machine and dry over night. Medium 9.5 in are perfect for my heavy flow.

I think this is probably a good product, but when I ordered it I only received one. I thought $25 for a set of five was a lot, but for one? No way! Maybe it was just a mistake, but I sent it back for a refund.

Amazing Product.. I have been using blossom cup for a while and am very happy, but I thought to get these as a back up on my extra light days... So far I am super impressed. They are soft, very absorbant and extra comfy. What i love about them is how easy the wash off. I just dump them with backing soda on cold bucket of water and after a couple of hours all the blood is out.. I just rinse and do a quick hand wash and hang them dry. The red color in easy on the staining and just pretty to look at. I am thinking of adding thinx to my stash but so far I am happy with my purchase and will reccomend to my friends and fam for sure. thanks this is my new period mate ;)

I purchased these as well as  Period Mate Reusable Cloth Menstrual Pads with Bamboo-charcoal Absorbency with Wet Bag (6 Pieces) (Cobalt Blue)  from Periodmate. I love this set! They are not irritating, and are surprisingly absorbent. I admit I was skeptical at first, but after two periods in a row of use I am sold. You do have to follow their recommendation on ensuring that your undergarments are not too loose, otherwise they do slip around a bit. Overall, I am a happy customer and would recommend these to anyone wanting to try a reusable pad.
