Definately heavy duty.
When put in place it holds itself in position very well. The spring inside certainly feels heavy duty. Overall I am very pleased with it. I'm using it, not as a shower rod but to hold a curtain up between a bedroom and the wall opposite so the bedroom door can stay open and people cannot see in. To adjust the size you have to press in a little button and then slide the pole out to the required position - when in place make sure the button is underneath so the (shower) curtain can slide across easily.

Easy to install
Really pleased with this product, used it in the bedroom to hang up curtains over the closet.

Highly recommended.
I have a double shower curtain I bought in USA. It’s consists of a plastic sheet on the inside of the bath and a cotton shower curtain on the outside. Together they are not heavy. My last shower pole lasted less tha 4 months. I then bought 3 others, ALL of which fell down after installation, they could hold the shower curtains up. So disappointing. After ready the reviews and the design of this pole, i thought I’d give it a try. If it can hold up heavy curtains, then surely it could hold up my shower curtains. Glad i bought it. It’s very strong and sturdy, and hasn’t moved since i put it up, about 6 months ago. Would definitely recommend.

Much better than expected!
These are excellent and exceeded my expectations. I bought them as a temporary measure when we moved house to give us some immediate privacy. As the description mentioned shower rail, I was really surprised to find them so robust - they support window curtains easily. They are very easy to fit and do not move once positioned.I liked them so much that I decided to use them permanently instead of fixing curtain poles to my wall. Much cheaper, no mess, plus blocks out more light because curtain inside window frame.I now have eight of these in my new home!Highly recommended.

Make sure you have a good tool to remove the plastic section to join the 2 poles together.
You have to pull this plastic section out that I've shown in pic to join the 2 poles together if your using it for 6ft plus, it's not easy to remove either and it doesn't state it in the instructions. Not something I would recommend if you have Fibromyalgia like myself as this caused me a great deal of pain. It doesn't state this in description as I would not have brought it if it did. I'm not sure how good this will be or whether it will fall down if tiles get damp during showering, guess only time will telll

Very study
Just the job. Brought as a temporary curtain pole for over my back door for some eyelet top curtains.Very study & secured well between the bit of wall either side of the door .. great locking mechanism, not like shower curtain type ones that just twist lock & then come loose over time.May not even bother putting a proper curtain pole up now.

It stays put
We needed to hang a door curtain to keep out draughts during winter. We live in a rented house so we couldn't hang a permanent rail. So we opted for this telescopic one. It took us a while to figure out what we were doing but so far it hasn't moved, unlike others we've used before. It will do the job

Very good quality.
Very strong, sturdy and with a lovely finish. I needed longer rods than usual for a shelf end to ensure bottles couldn't slip off -these are excellent. They look great too. Very smart appearance. I have numerous places these would also be useful ie holding voiles in the bathroom window being one of them. I will definitely be buying more in the future.
