It truly works
It truly works, i used it to my new 5.2 cubic samsung stackable and im impressed it truly works, it eliminate the crazy vibration and it lower down the noise during last spin. Make sure your washer and dryer is level before using.

Great Idea!
I wish I’d known about these when I had my old washing machine. I just remodeled my closet into a laundry room next door to all of the upstairs bedrooms so I was a little worried about machine noises. These pads have been a great addition to the install—easy to install, provide stability and reduce noice as promised. They’re thick but still provide stability due to their grippy texture.

Seemed a good quality but didn't stop the vibration
I had high hopes for these anti-vibration pads, but sadly my washing machine still vibrates like crazy on the spin cycle. If anything, these actually made the vibration worse.

Good product/build - mileage will vary
We have a first floor washing machine/dryer and my office is directly behind; the dryer vibration was bad enough to cause my desk to vibrate too. The pads are well built; I lowered the dryer legs as far down as required then balanced it then put it in place and put these under. The vibration to my desk has mostly stopped - I feel a little but not to the same degree. The dryer is about 20 years old and the facts are: 1) When we first got the dryer it would make a thump thump thump noise. When I complained to the tech he said that was the flattening of the belt when off and after you turn it on for a while it will not sound like that. It was somewhat true; but I don't think the thumping ever went totally away even after a long dry cycle. I don't know if beyond Wifi connectivity they have improved dryers. Back in the 80s one issue with floppy drives was that the belt would wear out the the speed to read would be impacted - the solution was a direct drive motor - no belts. If a $1000 dryer has belts and a $2000 has no belts then I would probably aim for the $2000 just for that alone, for my case. 2) They do sell affordable kits to replace various rubber parts (wheels/belts) in the dryers. But the problem is as per one review - the older you get the more "it may not be 100% equal in fit" and you maybe having issues taking off/putting on the parts. I thought about this more and being 20 years old it is not worth it and will aim to get a new dryer. Dishwasher state how quiet they are - not sure how quiet / less vibrating / you can get with a washer and dryer. There are limits. The only true solution would be two independent bases built with springs that would help isolate the vibration (no different than the bowling ball dropping on the Johnny mattress). Washing machines - the most vibration should happen during the final spin. We have a front load and it is brutally fast - but the basket is suspended in air and ... what are you going to do about it? Same thing - an independent base with springs. The review is based on the quality of the item and I thought it was well built overall and would recommend it as a way to help curb vibrations. Whether it works or not will depend on various factors - machine type (dryer v. washer), floor quality, cycles used, types of clothes in the machines etc. Hint - to move the dryer around just lift a bit and put a small piece of paper under each pad - move then take away the paper.

You get what you pay for this time!
Took a chance on spending $50 vs the many choices for much less. Our new whirlpool front load washer with pedestal had been a nightmare! It literally moved across the floor due to unreal vibrations. The noise was terrible. The laundry room vinyl floor is 13yrs old, never had an issue with top load washer prior to this. I was told I loaded it wrong. We finally found instructions to remove the storage drawer and by tipping it from one side to the other, set the pads in place ( first confirming the machine was level), Result: no moving on the floor, significantly less noise. Never any issues with the dryer (side by side) and the height difference does not warrant a set for it. My reason for buying front load was water and electricity savings. If not for that, I prefer my old top leader washer. I recommend this product...as for smell, no smell noted.
