I thought I lived in an area where banana trees don’t grow (Santa Cruz, CA) but it turns out if you feed them a little bit of this, it works fantastic! My Costco banana tree went from looking brown and brittle to a luscious green. I have only used a little bit and only once in the last couple of months or so. I think it’s time to put a little bit more feed in for maintenance but I think this batch goes a very long way! Highly recommend it.

This was very easy to use in my case because I happen to have a gallon jug to mix it with. That said where my bananas are in my yard stays pretty wet which bananas love. So I can make it with half a gallon and be fine. Bananas take up to 3 years before they produce fruit. So no expectations before then folks. That said I’ve done this for two years and it made all the difference. Last year I didn’t due to pregnancy and my tree is showing me all the difference between well fertilized and just making it through the day. So yes this IS a quality fertilizer! The size of the bag seemed small at first. But trust me it’s concentrated so it will go the distance!!! For reference these are blue Java or “ice cream” bananas. A hurricane ripped through and destroyed the bananas before I could enjoy my first crop.
