Basic inline fuse holder for low current 12v circuits

The slots that hold the fuse are very, very, (very) tight. This is much better than being too loose though. I had to use pliers to squeeze the metal legs of the fuse into the slots. I bent one fuse in my attempt. You could probably stick a screwdriver in there and twist to loosen them up, but like I said, too tight is better than too loose. You don't want the possibility of heat and subsequent corrosion in a damp application. They appear to be water tight after a quick dunk in the sink but I would not submerge them entirely for extended periods of time. For a buck a piece these are perfect. I can't give five stars though because holy cow the fuse was hard to get in.

It's nice fuse holder with decent aluminum wire. The only thing to be aware of is the holders use the mini-type of automotive fuse. Due to a protracted battle with the electrical system of a Subaru, I had some of the mini fuses but i think they ought to throw some in the bag. Most applications are going to be 15 amps or less so could hurt to sprinkle a couple fuses in there just so someone who was expecting the standard sized blade fuse isn't stuck with no fuse.
