no it will not. its garden hose thread which is different. but for NTP you just need a 3/4 npt to 1/4 npt reducer and you could use a regular 1/4npt air hose fitting to do the same thing

The small end of this connector is inserted into the air out port of an air compressor. The large end connects to a garden hose or a sprinkler system. The intention is to use the air pressure to blow the water out of the hose. It is not intended as a water nozzle.

Q: Can this be use if the male is PVC?

This item will not fit a typical male PVC fitting. This item has a garden hose thread. A typical male PVC fitting is a NPT (National Pipe Thread) which is different from a garden hose thread.
