Don’t know how I ever managed without one of these!
The media could not be loaded. 3 years ago, I ordered a boar brush and it came with a similar wire brush hair remover that comes in this set (the tiny one, with the red handle, except mine had a pink handle). That little wire hair remover became my favorite purchase ever (even though it isn’t what I actually purchased, lol).I have fine hair, that I wash every 5-7 days, to maintain its health. I have work out a system to wash it, style it and keep that style for up to a week, by finding the the right products to use in my hair.BUT, no matter what products you use, or how you perfect your hair routine, a dirty brush will toss all your hard work and money out the window and will dirty up your hair, right after you wash it. If you want to push out washing your hair, you NEED to clean your brush.Because I have fine hair, Which is decently long, my hairbrush fills up with hair and dried up products from my hair, within a week. Before I can scrub the brush down though, I need to get all the hair out.I admit, I bought this set to replace my freebie wire one that finally fell apart, but I wanted to see if any of the others worked as well, so I’ve been using the plastic ones and they do!I can even get the hair wrapped up in my revlon blow dry brush! I couldn’t see but a strand or two, but used the pink rake and got so much hair off that I didn’t even know was there! And since the instructions say: “Warning: remove all hair after each use”, figure that’s important to do.These little rakes get the hair out so easy, without causing damage to the bristles and doesn’t leave hairs behind that pulling the hair out of the brush with your hands does. It also helps scratch up the product stuck in you brush and pull it out with the hair. The video I’ve attached is a brush I just pulled the hair out of. The little rake not only got the few hairs left, but also pulled the product that was stuck in the brush out too! Now, both brushes are ready to be washed and my blow dry brush won’t catch fire from hair getting into it. And I (again) have not even opened the one thing I bought this set for, lol! Now, I know I’m singing the praises of these things like I got paid to or got them for free, but neither is true. I bought this set at full price.I even looked up the boar brush where I got the original rake, and it isn’t affiliated with this set at all.I am just big on sharing hair beauty hacks, especially when it’s a CHEAP thing, that can make such a huge difference in, not only the way your hair looks (less washing means healthier hair, and again, a clean brush means less washing) but also save someone money, (less washing means less product used and if you use professional products, cleaning your brush out right, could save you $100’s a year). And my last wire brush lasted me almost 4 years, I know at least that one will have longevity, but pretty confident the plastic ones will too. I’m more likely to have to replace because I lose them, lol.Pretty big win, I think!

Useful, but mainly the one
The larger one is the most useful. The smaller plastic ones are okay, but feel a bit flimsy. The metal ones didn't seem to be helpful at all. I tried them all in my daughters' Wet brushes. Maybe it's the style of brush I was using but, the smaller metal ones didn't clean anything out. You've still got to pull some of the "lint" off the bristles as it doesn't get it all off each one, but the larger got the majority off much better than just using my fingers.

Simple and just plain work
Nothing fancy but they do a great job clearing hair out of our hair brushes.

VERY small, dinky, cheap, unusable, easily broken, waste of $$.
These are literally doll-sized (<3" long) & can't be used on regular sized brushes. If you even try they just bend like using a twist-tie to clean a brush. Half of them are dinky, cheap 100% plastic easily-broken toys. Bought these as a gift for someone with lots of hair - no way I'm giving these to them. Best for brushing barbie- doll hair.
