Over the past 45 years I have generally not paid more than £10 for a duvet cover.Only paid more for made to order with the logo of a band or such like.First time buying a set on Amazon and I was dismayed at all the horror stories of covers literally crumbling apart in peoples hands.I would have though if covers were that bad it should be a trading standards issue rather than a return.Anyway as I needed a set in a hurry Amazon was the only option.I paid nearly £17 and hoped for the best.Cover and pillow cases are black,rather than dep grey, and the material does has a softer feel to it.Opening for putting Duvet in is quite narrow so bit fiddling fitting.Standard popper closing.Only for bed in spare room so should be ok.Wouldn't buy again though as too expensive for me.

Very good quality. Looks rich and luxurious. Although it feels light whilst on the bed it is also very warm and cosy. Very well made and does not crease up, always looks fresh. Very good buy.

We bought this for the spare room. The stitching was showing and pulling apart at the seams the first time we put it on. Lucky it’s only meant as a temporary cover between guests, but the quality is very disappointing (I know it’s a cheap cover, but still…)

I've bought a couple duvet covers from Amazon so when I saw the price of this I got it, wish I never, will probably give it away to a family member, disapointed, it was stinking of something horrible and had to put it straight in the washing machine, I wont be using it.

Added warmth compared to standard duvet covers

The microfibre is pleasantly soft, with a warmer feel than cotton. It reminds me of the brushed cotton of the 70's, but I'm pleased to say it doesn't "catch" on my rough fingers!All in all, good value for money.

It is very attractive. Just don't iron the pillow sham without placing two sides around the ironing board..the interfacing within will glue the front and back together with heat from the iron.

Not a duvet cover set it’s a duvet!! Which absolutely stinks of chemicals and awkward to wash because it’s a massive duvet!
