Moonglow: Blood Magic Book 2
J**S
Intriguing pnr, magic and mystery
Set six months after the events in Nightfall, Tegans story continues as she returns to the mysterious town of Tribane to help vampire Slayer Finn, rescue a kidnapped child.Well things have changed a bit in Tribane in Tegans absence but I liked how she reconnected with her human and supernatural friends, despite the difficult situation she agreed to be put in with regards to the delectable vampire Ethan. These two have such a spark together and although their attraction intensifies during this book, they have an awful lot to overcome, none more so than the events at the end of the book. With their stark differences I'm wondering if they can ever find a way to be together? I hope so, I like them both! There was progression with Tegan and her abilities which was good to see, I was hoping there was still more to her and her bloodline to come. I'm intrigued as to how that progresses, also with Ethan and her relationship with Finn! However, part of me would have liked a bit more depth and detail overall, as there was so much going on.With some great secondary characters, there was mystery, suspense, betrayal, magic and mystical powers, bloodthirsty vampires, wicked warlocks, reveals, revalations and more danger with the battles for supernatural supremacy. I enjoyed this easy to read story and look forward to the next installment!Rating 3.75 starsBorrowed via KU

Supernatural fun
Moonglow by LH Cosway4*‘He brushed his thumb over my chin. “Anything for you, lumina mea.”Something fluttered in my chest. I glance to the street at the end of the alley, where carspaused by out on the road. “What does that mean?2A fond look entered his eyes as he caressed my cheek. “It’s Romanain for ‘my light’. I didn’trealise how dark it was the last few months until you walked into my club tonight and lit up theentire room.”’Although I found the first book of this series to be a little disappointing, I think book two definitelyredeemed the story for me a little. There was more action, a more elaborate and exciting plot, where things were starting to heat up and get very interesting. I found, especially with Tegan, that the characters were more well-rounded, their dialogue flowing smoother and more organic, rather than the stilted and cliched conversations from Nightfall. Each player seemed to find theirgroove within the overall plot.I was more engaged, more captivated and enthralled with this book. The romance was moremature and explored beautifully, with some great tension between Tegan and Ethan. There isno doubt that he is a very charming, very sweet and very mysterious hero. Just as Tegan iscoming into her own, with her confidence, assertiveness and courage. It was a fun, supernatural adventure with lovely elements of love and romance imbued.

Superb paranormal read!
OMG! Moonglow is even better than I remember! It’s even better than Nightfall!I could not put the book down. You just cannot get bored or slow down. I was actually annoyed I had to go to work 😂I really like the fast pace for a change, where I don’t have to read 2 pages long description of a river or something other. The slow burn romance between Tegan and Ethan is just exquisite. Ethan... *swoon* (Finn is not so bad either).I truly love all the characters in this series and I wish I had them in my real life as friends (thinking of Rita and Finn). How cool would it be to have a powerful witch as your best friend??I don’t want to spoil the story, you can read the description and decide for yourself. Let me just tell You that there’s MUCH MORE happening in the book then you could possibly expect!Happy reading! 🎉🎉

Really enjoyed this book
Received this book as an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.Moonglow picks up six months after book one following Tegan leaving tribane. She is convinced to return very easily, but underestimates how what she is returning to do will affect her. I found moonglow to be very fast paced, there have been a number of changes to the city in the six months that Tegan was absent.I liked how the characters developed, I also liked the introduction to Whitfield and Eliza, both terribly unlikable, but it fits the story so well. There is a notable change to Ethan in Moonglow from nightfall, he’s still the same person at heart, but his change in position is reflected in his characterisation.I have to add that Lucas is much nicer to Amanda in this retelling...I so happy about that!

Oh my word! Heart in mouth
Following on directly from book 1, Nightfall, Tegan comes out of hiding and is recruited by the North side to locate their new leader’s kidnapped daughter. Not happy about returning to Tribane, yet being unable to resist the pull of the city, and in particular, a certain vampire, who shall not be named, Tegan faces her fears. The missing child, it seems, is not the only person to go missing, and Tegan must use all her instincts to locate both missing persons before it’s too late. Lots of suspense, lots of action, and oh my lord, the passion. I was on tenterhooks during those last few chapters. LH Cosway sure knows how to spin a tale. What the heck is going to happen as Tegan’s story continues. I cannot wait. I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest review.

Second book is gripping
The second book in the series takes us on another adventure in the world of Tribane and the magical beings that reside there amongst the humans.Tegan goes back to help save a child and plans to stay temporarily but then discovers something has occurred, her dad is missing and there is lots more to be uncovered from her past and her friends life's.Rita quickly becomes a huge part of Tegans life and we learn the truth of her bloodline and just how powerful she is.Tegan is back trapped between Finn and Ethan as guilt eats at her for her reasons for being back in Tribane.LH Cosways magical way with writing has you teethering on edge as the plot unfolds chapter by chapter and the story adds more layers in the second book
