I’ve been taking He Shou Wu (Fo-Ti) root (often spelled “Ho Shou Wu”) on and off for about 10 years, trying several different brands during that time. This particular one is easily the best I’ve had so far. The flavor is genuinely pleasant — smooth, earthy, and much better than most versions I’ve tried. It mixes fairly well with water too, which makes it easy to take daily without much hassle. Some roots can be gritty or overly bitter, but this one has a really nice consistency and taste. I haven’t quite finished the full package yet, but based on my long experience with this herb, the quality, texture, and flavor stand out immediately. So far, I’m very impressed and would definitely purchase it again.

I have only had this product for a week or so. I was quite impressed with the packaging. The bamboo spoon is a very nice touch as well. I will admit that I was surprised that it tasted as good as it did. I think that it's likely way too early to tell what the benefits might be for me. It could be the placebo effect, but it seems as though my mind could be a little bit sharper, with better focus, for a few hours after drinking this tea. My question to the community of those who drink this is: do you notice flatulence after drinking this tea? It could be a coincidence, but it happened a few days in a row. And when I stopped drinking the tea, it stopped. I am lactose intolerant, so naturally I checked the box for any mention of milk or lactose and there was none. I will try again.
