I used to buy these at Food Lion for use in my chili recipes made in the Instant Pot. But for some unknown reason Food Lion decided to discontinue them. This led me to find them some other way and fortunately Amazon carries them. Yet one more reason not to buy things from Food Lion. These are delicious beans, perfectly seasoned, and work well plain or in any chili recipe. Try them in the Instant Pot with boneless, skinless chicken breasts and a packet of chili seasoning.

these beans were a close-out at Food Lion; bought one can and wished I had bought all they had. I do not usually eat beans, but these a delicious, low calorie, and satisfying. Especially good with rice. So glad I was able to find them on Amazon.

These seasoned black beans are a wonderful source for recipes. They have great seasoning, and literally can be used from the can, but, I love to add them to ground beef or turkey, and use threat as a base for all kinds of Tex-mex meals, like a taco casserole , tacos, burritos, chili, etc

A lot of times I will buy something like this and it will sit on the shelf for years. Somehow these showed up on my shelf. I am not sure where I bought them. I looked at all my local markets and could not find them.When I did notice them and tried to cook them with some meat, added veggies and rice they were fantastic. Really tasty.The one thing I wish Bush's would do is to go a bit easier on the salt. That would be perfect. Let the buyer determine how much salt they need in their food, because all the doctors are saying cut down on salt.This product makes eating beans tasty and easy - love them. 5/5

Imagine black beans. Now imagine them with very, very mild salsa. Ta-da! You have this.Are these good on their own? Not really. They aren't terrible, but they are so mild that it makes me immediately start seasoning them myself. I guess they'd be ok in tacos or burritos, as long as you properly season everything else.I put this in a beans and rice dish. I put tons of seasoning in that, so it was quite good. These really could just have been plain black beans and it wouldn't have made much of a difference.Honestly, they are a good start. If I'm using them in tacos or burritos, I'd probably put them in a bowl first, and then season them properly. As they come out of the can, they taste like black beans in salsa made by someone who hates flavor.

Great favorite . Mix them with rice and hamburger

It's my favorite flavor of canned beans and its disappeared from my area .

Finally a bean I can eat regularly. Tastes great as a side dish. Even my husband likes them. Hard to always find in the stores.
