CatGenie SaniSolution Smart Cartridge

To be honest I was expecting at least some form of let down when I purchased the Cat Genie. I've had it for almost two months now and I have been 100% satisfied. We have 3 cats and all 3 adopted it quickly. Just leave their old cat box next to it and stop cleaning it--they naturally start using it. I do recommend the additional side walls as we have one cat in particular who, even with cat boxes, would stand inside and end up going on the floor. There's no fixing stupid... but we love him. We have it on manual and just hit the button as needed. Great product and I would totally buy it again.

Having a CatGenie means you must use this product. It actually leaves a good smell when the granules are cleaned (unless there is poop that escaped the lifter - phew!). But no fault of the product, it's the dryer combined with left-over poop that creates the odor - which is quickly gone. Having this on automatic shipping is good because it means I won't be caught short and have to go back to the old litter box temporarily.

I was an early adopter of the CatGenie -- the CatGenie 60. It is still working just fine (I and my cats *love* it) and I'm very unhappy that amazon seems to be having months-long difficulties (Nov 2013 thru Jan 2014 and counting) in restocking the SaniSolution Smart Cartridge needed for the older model. I was able to get a supply from the CatGenie website, but, hey, I'm an amazon customer for a reason. So solve the re-stocking problem, please. Lots of us still have the older CatGenie 60. We can't use the stuff made for the CatGenie 120.

This seller does not disclose what cat genie this product works for. I bought two of his/her sanisolutions and they did not disclose that it does not work with the catgenie 120. I cannot return the items since they are considered "hazarded items". Shame on Amazon for not dropping this vender since they sold fake and false items!!!!!!!! This is the first time that I read an amazon review and realized I have been sold snake oil. Amazon needs to be responsible for this person selling crap. READ THIS REVIEW AND DO NOTE BUY FROM THIS PERSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You would think that a product that was "Enviromentally Friendly" would come in recyclable packaging, but it does not. The actual clear packing plasic is not marked for recycling and neither is the cartridge.It would also only be 2/3rds empty and it would be "EMPTY" and there was still a LOT of solution left in it! With 3 cats, we'd go through 2 cartidges in one week! Wasn't worth it anymore!I'm selling my CatGenie on Ebay.

The cat genie is a game changer for cat owners. It saves the work of cleaning the litter box, you don't have to carry heavy bags of litter home from the store, then out to the trash after they are used. Instead, these neat little cartridges show up on my front porch, and last a one to three months (I turn the cat genie off when the cat and I are out of town, which is quite often.) I can't wait to have an excuse to upgrade to the 120!

The cat genie is a fabulous idea but is sooooooo cumbersome to deal with and clogs quickly and often and must be disassembled to unclog and we even scoop out the solids so it doesn't even have to deal with that. It needs to be re engineered to make daily usage easier and much less maintence but a great idea we hope someone will improve on and we'll buy it.

I love my cat genie, and these cartridges work great. However, I really wish it would have specified whether this was the scented or unscented cartridge.
