AeroShell 33MS / 64 Gun Grease .5oz / Mil-Spec

AeroShell is a must have for any proper AR builder. Steel barrel nut and aluminum receivers don't do well over time. This is the proper product, by account of several armorers books and programs I've attended, to use to prevent bad bad scary things from happening. Maybe it's the fact that it's really good grease or maybe the Umbrella logo on the lid that makes it cool, I don't know but all I do know is that it works well and has cool packaging so it's a win win for me.

The AeroShell 33MS / 64 Gun Grease .5oz is perfect for my AR-15 builds, keeping barrel nut and receiver threads smooth and corrosion-free. A little dab goes a long way, but it’s pricey for such a small jar.

This stuff is a great thread compound. I purchased it and assembled my rifle. You put a little of this on the threads before you tork down the barrel. I highly recommend this if you ever have to remove your barrel, it will come off, where as if you didn't, it's going to be a struggle and you could damage your receiver.

I purchased this as a anti seize grease for installing AR-15 barrels. I also found that is works well for protecting electric and car battery terminals from corroding.
