Manufactured products can be much better...
The first shipment arrived broken. OK, Amazon replaced it after I shipped the broken one back (who needs a broken ceramic pot to be returned?). The next one arrived, and the top didn't fit the bottom at all. No matter which direction used, the top and bottom were NOT made together, or necessarily to fit one another. Obviously handmade, but not in a quality fashion. Handmade only matters if it is better than "manufactured", not if it is much worse. Returned. Got a Staub. Staub works great, as always.

Italian Ceramic Bakeware
When I ordered this there were mixed reviews. This pot is wonderful for a large roast, cooks evenly and is beautiful enough to sit on the table. It is also baked on in the inside, not raw clay. I like both for different reasons. I highly recommend this pot.
