Short & sweet, I live on a mountain top farm. So, with that fact in mind, I'm sure that you will understand that its a commonplace issue that I am always battling with unwanted pests like mice, ants & a whole host of other vermin that will enter the home completely uninvited in search of food sources, no matter how clean the house interior may be. To that end, I have previously bought three of these from the same seller & they have turned out to be one of my better preventative measures against unwanted pests. This specific product has done more on its own to deny all the unwanted critters of the wilderness from successfully infiltrating my dry food sources like sugar, flour, oatmeal & various other dry goods. Mind you, I do have other glass containers but none with this large of a holding capacity. I usually buy certain bulk dry goods to last a few months which means that during later shopping trips, I can buy less food. That means less work to put it all away. However, I have a feeling that I won't be satisfied until I have enough of these containers to fill with other dry goods which will free up all the mason jars to use for other types of food.

Great size jar with a great seal.

I make homemade laundry detergent and store it in this jar. The jar is great quality and air tight like advertised. Would be great for pantry items or pastery items because it is very airtight

Love this jar. We use it for dog treats. It’s big enough that we only have to fill it once/week.

this is a really nice jar except there is a noticable seam(line) on the side. lid fits really tight and holds a lot. Simple, yet a bit elegant!
