This hooded dryer absolutely wowed me! I do my hair myself and the hand blower dryer takes to long. Also, it doesn't get to the roots of the hair. Since I got some Christmas money, I decided to buy this standing dryer. I got it today in the mail. Set up was easy! It works like a charm with a cool, low heat and high heat setting. Im so happy I got this, my wash day was a lot easier.

Customer service has been nothing but outstanding!!!! They reply very promptly, and helped step by step to help us with an issue. Our hooded dryers back shield was no longer attaching like it should have so they helped us figure out what was wrong and sent us a new dryer right away. The kindness from this company was phenomenal!!!

Omgoodness - i love this thing! I have curly 2c/3a and diffusing was arduous 🤣. I can’t believe i waited so long to get one. My only wish is that it was a little ‘deeper’ bc i use clips for root volume and they hit the top if i even shift while in there. It works great tho so that’s more a personal preference than functional. If youre on the fence, just do it. I went on vacation and had to go back to diffusing w a handheld. THAT is when you really fall in love with it

I don't often write reviews but thought I'd write one here to help others. I am good at assembling things but had a terrible time with this hair dryer. I finally watched the video (look for videos on the product page -- it's about the 4th one in), which helped a lot. I could not get the wheels to go in. The video said to just push really hard-- I tried pushing and even using a mallet. It worked for a few wheels, but a few were still too tight. With all of my weight, I finally got most of them in, but when pushing the last one, the plastic rim on the leg cracked -- but at least the wheel went in and I just hope it will hold up over time, even with the crack. Then, when I went to put the pole it, again I had to push really hard to get it to go far enough in for the screw to engage. Looking at just the instructions, you would not know you had to push so hard on pieces for them to go in, and you do risk damaging the hair dryer's plastic parts. I've not used it yet, but hopefully it will work (I'm sure I'd never get it apart to return it). Good luck!

I ordered this TASALON Ionic Hooded Dryer for my small salon. It arrived before we finished getting the salon space set up, so I left it in the box while we finished setting up the room. When I finally opened the box and set up the dryer, it did not come on. I checked the electricity, the outlet, everything, but the unit did not come on. I moved it to another part of the business just to try another outlet, and it did not come on. Turns out the unit is a piece of garbage. I contacted Amazon to return, but they said it's not eligible for return because it's over 30 days since delivery. The problem was I kept it in the box until the room was ready because we were not ready to use it. I thought since it was purchased brand new, there was no risk involved in doing that, not thinking that it might not work. Well, what a mistake! Now I'm stuck with a piece of garbage that never worked for one day and I cannot return it for another unit. I do not recommend ordering this unit or any unit from this manufacturer or seller. Unbelievable. Now I have to buy a new hooded dryer, but it will definitely not be a TASALON. BUYER BEWARE...DO NOT BY THIS TASALON Ionic Hooded Dryer.

Great product, but the assembly could have been easier. Pictures are good; however, step-by-steps instructions are better. The wheels are pain; very hard to get on. I still have unused parts: the clips and an extra hood dome. I had to watch a YouTube video to put it together.
