Great Screen and as expected
I had an old laptop where I wanted to connect the screen to it. The only thing I was afraid of was if my graphic card would handle the 3440 X 1440. Amazingly it did and the screen looks great.

got it on sale for $285 after tax and i gotta say this is the best monitor ive ever owned super impressed. its fast the specs are better then the ASUS websites specs and it hits HDR 600 nits most games i play FPSs or otherwise usually at ultra settings in the 3440x1440 dont go past 165 fps any way and unlike the ACER NITRO i had before this time the aspect ratio looks amazing and not smooshed. its color pallet is vary vibrant with the HDR and control pannel settings tweaked. it its very crisp the curve isnt intense but thats no issue tho i wish gaming monitor companies would take off the cheap speaker because most gamers have dedicated ones or headsets would rather them use the cost of speakers to improve the hardware instead but thats a nitpick. really nice product would recommend highly for my cant afford OLED brothas.

I bought this for only SR1,600 including import tax. Super bargain price and worth the money. I used it as an external monitor for my Macbook Air. I can't appreciate the 165hz refresh rate because the Mac can only give 60hz refresh rate using hdmi port. Once i upgrade to M1 Mac, I can experience the real high refresh rate. The resolution is enough coming from the 720p screen of Macbook Air. Ultrawide is truly i like about this monitor. I can multitask and split screen especially on charting on tradingview.

I absolutely love this morning. It's got great colours, supports HDR, is a perfect size for gaming, at least for me. The menu is easy to understand and I love that there's a dedicated power button so I don't have to mess around with the menu to turn if off at night.

Considered multiple different monitors when setting up a home office space for a new, fully-remote job. I had for many years used dual/triple monitors for work, but was also interested in a single, larger monitor due to limited space and funds. Also knew I wanted 1440p over 1080p for the sharpness, and the additional screen space from higher pixel count. I have used an ASUS ROG PG279Q as a gaming monitor, with an ASUS VG245 as a secondary/reference monitor for several years, and have been quite happy with them, so my first choice was ASUS. Before deciding on the VG35VQ, I also considered the following - MSI MAG341CQ 34”; Non-adjustable stand. Can only tilt. ASUS VP348QGL 34”; Too big for a flat screen sitting close. Edges would lose too much angle ASUS TUF GAMING VG27WQ 27” (x2); Cost too high for a dual setup Samsung G5 C34G55T 35”; Higher cost than ASUS for barely discernible differences; reviews not up to those of comparable ASUS Samsung G5 C27G55T 27” (x2); Higher cost than ASUS for barely discernible differences; reviews not up to those of comparable ASUS Like many others, I’ve had not so great luck purchasing monitors from Amazon. The issues were mostly with regards to shipping; the monitor box would be put into another, slightly larger, Amazon branded box with minimal cushioning, resulting in the monitor getting bounced around. However, as this is essentially the size of a small TV, the box is large enough that it was shipped in its original packaging, and arrived in perfect condition. Pros - Picture is excellent, with, thankfully, no dead pixels on arrival. With minimal adjustments for personal preferences, spreadsheets are nice and bright with well defined grid lines, no bleeding/blurring, and colors are sharp. The screen is large enough for two full size Excel/GSheets pages as well as Slack. There is no dealing with “which monitor is it on” when screen sharing Less neck strain as I am not turning my head as far side to side The flat ASUS monitor stand is the best available in my opinion. (I like a stand that prioritizes stability; one that doesn’t let the monitor shake all over the place. When I inevitably slam my knee into the desk while getting up too quickly, I don’t want to worry that my monitor will fall over) Cons - (These are very minor, and really just personal preference) The menu buttons on the back are VERY large, but feel quite flimsy. It’s a large monitor, so large buttons make sense, but they’re too big and have too much play in them While the stand is top notch, it’s footprint is slightly smaller than that on the PG279Q; the stand on the VG35VQ is also not quite as heavy as on the PG279Q. I realize TUF GAMING is a step down from ROG, but as the VG35VQ is considerably larger and heavier, I expected something at least comparable to the PG279Q ——— TL;DR. - The review title says it all; EPIC work monitor. Very, very, happy with the purchase, and even happier I finally found a monitor larger enough Amazon shipped it properly!
