Flimsy but it works
It is a pretty flimsy cable, and the range is not very good at all. I taped it to my cable box in the sweet spot and it is working fine, but it took a little bit to get it just right. You get what you pay for.

Works great with the Xbox One
I bought this product to use with my Xbox One without the Kinect. Plugging this into the Xbox IR port, and then sticking the emitter on the TV's IR receiver has let me use my Xbox media remote to control channels and volumes on my TV, as well as have the Xbox One turn on and off the TV as the console starts or enters standby. It does the job as expected for a relatively cheap cost. Excellent.

FYI - Needs 2.5mm Adapter To Work With Harmony Smart Control Remotes
Nothing against this product, but I bought it thinking IR emitters were all the same, but they are not. This unit has a 3.5mm plug (which is accurately described in the product information), but the Harmony Smart Control uses a 2.5mm plug. So if you're looking for one of these for the new Harmony remote systems, also purchase the required 2.5mm adapter (like this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005KP2AJY/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) that you'll need to plug it into the Harmony Hub.

Works well in my application.
The transmitter eye is small and relatively unobtrusive. The cable is long enough to meet my needs. It has worked well.

The build quality isn't great, but its just a cable that isn't going ...
This works well with my Xbox One. The build quality isn't great, but its just a cable that isn't going to be moved around a bunch. Works as expected.

DO NOT BUY
The emitter range is absolute crap. I have to place it right on the corresponding unit's IR receiver for it to even work, not the cheap look I was going for since there is no way to attached it with taping it on. I would not recommend this product to anyone, spend the extra $10 to get a better one like: http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-Extender-Blaster-Cable-Head-Foot/dp/B00I47O26E/ref=pd_cp_23_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=05A3VW9D7GGHWJYF5K4RGot the one from the link above and it works better with close to a 18-20in range; allows me to hide it and its angled so it will work from below or above the unit.

Three Stars
Flashing light seemed to work, but the IR itself didn't seem to work with my Xbox One.

Maybe a good item....
Im sure it would of worked well, if my dog didn't chew it to pieces.
