This is a Great Great CD!Connie Francis was so underrated!Boy what a voice and the orchestration is fabulous behind her!Sooo glad I bought it!

Love, Italian-American StyleI love this album of Italian/Continental songs sung by Ms. Francis from the 60's. Francis had a lovely voice and it is no surprise that she was the most popular "pop" female vocalist of her day. Her renditions of these songs are just great, with Ms. Francis going from very good sounding Italian to English and back again. I have versions of some of these songs by Italian-born singers of the period such as Mina, Dalida, and Pino Donagio and Francis holds her own quite well alongside those marvelous vocalist. I would like to think that people, after hearing Connie's Italian/American interpretations, would also be interested in hearing the singers I mentioned above, in addition to other fine recording artists born in Italia.Brava Concetta!Luigi ~ NYC

As an Italian American I love Ms Francis. Her voice is nothing but angelic. I cry everytime I hear the song Mama. In fact, at my mothers furneral, I played this song. there was not a dry eye in the chruch. Even the priest who said the mass cried and told the crowd that the song reminded him of his mother. I recommed this CD to any lover of Italian music.

Currently this is one of my most favorite C/D's. Her voice comes through spectacularly. I have the C/D downloaded on my iPod, as well as on my computer. I am an elderly 3-1/2 year widower, and she takes me back to my younger days. I am sure my deceased wife in heaven above approves. At times I feel that Connie is taking me to see my sweetheart.

I grew up listening to these sorts of tunes at my grandparent's & aunts/uncles' houses. Some of the songs bring back memories. As a "typical" Italian family, we played "Mama" at my grandmother's funeral. More memories. ;)

I really love this CD its the best and I would like Collection 2 also,but its only a download mp3 and being in Canada its not available to me.I may have to looks elsewhere because I want it.If the CD becomes available Please contact meThank You Pat

I bought this for my 88 year-old dad who is Italian and he loves it!

I remember hearing Connie on the radio in the 60's, but it wasn't until recently I discovered she also sang in other languages. Anyway this is a great album of her Italian songs, even if you don't speak Italian. A truly memorable voice.
