Run Like a Man!
After swapping out my old insoles, I ran faster than a man pretending to be a woman in the NCAA Swimming Championships.

Dr. Scholl's stepping their game up!
So consider me impressed. These are not your typical Dr Scholls insoles. I love that you do not have to trim them down first, I just ordered my shoe size and they fit like a glove. It's like going from off the rack clothes to tailored. After my first run a few things stood out to me:1.) Crazy arch support2.) Heel cushioning3.) Great ball of foot paddingFrom what I can tell, the difference is in the more "custom" fit sizing and better materials. I'm a fan!

The incline of this insoles makes your tabialis (front calve muscles) and the back of calve hurt.
First, I am a 250+ lbs. runner. I log in about 6 miles a day 7 days a week. The first run I got in on these was only a 2.5 mile run and within mile 1 my calves began to hurt. I practically limbed home. I gave them another shot for another run, this time a 3 mile run, and same. My tibialis on both legs hurt. I even stopped at each mile to "walk off" the tightness. However, this in not to knock on the insole itself. It is comfy and provides lots of shock absorption. My analysis is based on the fact that the incline of the heel in comparison to the toe is very high. This incline makes the average run, who runs from heel to toe, to run on your toes. Thus, placing more of the tibialis muscles in the fore front of your run. This insole maybe for runners who naturally run on their toes and need that added shock absorption. So if you're a heavy built body runner stay away. Go with some wernies which are only $10 verses these which were more like $43.
