Lonesome Dove the Series: The Complete Season One

Excellent TV series! I have probably seen every episode 5 times and I still love it! The only problem I had was of the 6 discs, 5 of them had been covered in some type of sticky substance that dried down white on the playing side of the discs. It sort of looked like Gatorade had been spilled on them. This did cause the dvds to skip horribly and not play at all. Eventually we broke out the windex! That seemed to do the trick, just spray a lot on the disc and let it soak then wipe off with a dish rag and your good to go! Hopefully if anyone else has this problem this will help. If you read this because you wanted to know if the series was worth watching, all I can say is yes, definitely! Sadly there is only this season, then outlaw years. However Comanche Moon is the Prequel and I definitely recommend that as well! This is really such a great story from Comanche Moon to outlaw years, I love it!

Great Series! They should have stuck with the story line in season 1! because season two, "The Outlaw Years" I'm afraid put an ended to a promising show! don't get me wrong, season 2 was a great show, but the people tuned to the dark side so to speak! LOL!!!!!!!!!

This is a great TV show. Lonesome Dove the series season one is a very good western, with very good stories. If you're a fan of the genre, you are going to like this television show.

My husband & I loved this series as a continuation to the life of Newt Call. A must see if you are a fan of Lonesome Dove & Return to Lonesome Dove. If there were a higher rating than 5, we would have given it!!

Love the Cowboy way I grew up living. The Author brought out a Spiritual essence in each of the 5 original Movies. I have yet to watch the series, but I look forward to it.

Picture quality is horrible. Very grainy and blurry. The issue is not with my equipment. I have a quality Samsung Blu-ray/DVD player and a Samsung 4K UHD smart TV. Although the packaging looks legitimate, I suspect it is a bootlegged copy. I am returning it for a refund.

saw this series on tv. liked it so i purchased it cause i missed a couple of shows. i like the old west movies.

Liked the delivery, but didn't like that there's no play all or menu, & I just didn't like Mosby's character in this series @ all!

should be played in sequence. very good entertainment, watched twice
