Is this effective for removing blood stains??

I found it worked for me on a duvet cover that had been washed and dried in the conventional way which had made the blood stain look like it was going to be there permanently. If you have already tried to remove the stain like I did then you need to be patient when using the HG  stain remover because when a garment dries with the stain still on it sort of bakes into the fabric making it more difficult to remove. I left the stain remover on the stain over night then I rinsed the item thoroughly because you Must Not mix the HG products or you will cause a reaction and that is dangerous!
Once I was sure the stain remover had been rinsed out I used the HG Whiter than White powder in a second overnight soak and the remnants of the stain were gone! You do not have to do this if the stain has come out using the pre treat stain remover.
Please note make sure the garment you have with the blood stain on is suitable for HG treatment because these chemicals will ruin your garment if you are not careful. Always test on a hidden part of the garment before using on the stain. Make sure you wear gloves and be patient. Stain removal should never be hurried. I hope this has helped. 
The stain I used the HG products on was over a large area of the duvet cover and the material was polyester/cotton.

I have recently used oxy stain remover on my dress and it has left bleach stains on the material would this help help to remove the stains please

Unfortunately not you will only make the bleach stains worse. Bleach stains are caused by the product not only removing the stains from your dress but the colour too. It’s always advised to test a stain removing product on a hidden area of clothing so that if it reacts like it did on your dress it won’t be seen. I’m so sorry to hear your dress has been damaged. There’s nothing worse than spoiling a favourite garment. Perhaps you could try re-dying it but make sure you buy the correct dye for the type of material the dress is made from. Good luck!
